  1. Where's that free the squaretails beaver when you need him?
  2. Might try to make it to this. How long will it take me to get there from the Worcester Area?
  3. I have a 165 Atomic Firestarter that might interest you. It's their top of the line BX board from two or three years ago. Let me know if you're interested and I'll see if I can get some specs and pics for you. Not sure exactly how wide it is, but it does have built in riser plates, so that will help even more with toe/heel drag. Steve
  4. I've got a 168 texalium you can ride if you promise not to break it... You'd love it though, definitely one of my favorite freeride boards. I'll be there around 6 helping to get one of our kids set up on plates.
  5. Can I come? I'll even bring some stubbies...
  6. We've been setting from around 7 till 9 on Wednesdays. Hope to see some of you out there!
  7. I've always got a couple extra decks with me. Let me know when your coming and I can throw the Madd 170, or the Burton FP 178 in the car for ya. Fleck
  8. I don't know Neil, I think we could make a pretty good argument that Noah is a joke.... He just sets because he's too lazy to lug around the gates!
  9. We'll be running gates from 2-5pm at Ski Ward in Shrewsbury this Saturday, and on Sunday there will be a USASA sanctioned GS and SL race. Anyone here is more than welcome to come out and run some gates with us. We had a pretty good group last year, and you won't find too many places around setting training courses with snowboard panels. Details on the race at www.ridemass.org Hope to see some of you there! Steve
  10. That's a bummer about the Catskills, we ran some dual events with them last year, there a good bunch and always put on a good show. If you're interested, we'll be having our races, GS and SL, at Ski Ward in Shrewsbury on Sunday. You can find all the details at www.ridemass.org. The more the merrier! We'll also be training gates at Ski Ward from 2-5 on Saturday, so you're more than welcome to join us. Steve
  11. The first batch of the new madds had the yellow sidewalls, and there were some problems with the epoxy on the CF butterfly, causing just the butterfly to delam. The second batch was much better, and had the red sidewalls. Hope this helps.
  12. Crowds weren't as bad as I was expecting, and not bad at all if you know where to go to get away from them. The snow was decent, but they definitely got some rain up there on Sunday night, so some of the trails that don't have snowmaking had some bad patches. Overall, it was a good time, and it's supposed to be snowing up here tonight and late tomorrow night, so I put money on bigger crowds for the weekend.
  13. Anyone else going to be there? I'll most likely be out on the big stick in the morning, and then break out the Madd BX when it gets choppy and more crowded. Steve
  14. On mine you can see the titanal layer just below the topsheet. I've never seen a titanal board with cap construction, but that doesn't mean there is not one out there somwhere.
  15. We used to use corn starch to get Klister off, so you might try that. Otherwise I'd just try to hot scrape it, and then rub it down with citrus cleaner.
  16. Sorry willy, we'll just have to dream for now  you must have enjoyed the wind down at the cape this weekend. I actually didn't see as many kites as usual, but there were a ton of windsurfers.
  17. Kitty's doing just fine. Check your pm's willy, I have something else you might be interested in.
  18. Just trying to get some of this stuff out of my basement. I've got a couple of good starter decks and great BX/All mountain board. 158 Volkl RT SL, don't remember the year, yellow and black topsheet. Used for 2 seasons, still fun to ride, just not as fun as my Madds.... would be great for a smaller rider looking to get into racing who needs a slalom board. $80 165 Atomic Firestarter, Atomic's top of the line BX board from 2 years back. I ride plate in BX most of the time, so this board was not ridden a whole lot and is in great condition. Other than a few topsheet nicks and binding marks on the rubber dampers I would say it's almost new. This is a great all mountain board, handles well at speed, and is very damp due to the rubber topsheet. $350 May be able to get some picks if anyone is seriously interested. Thanks, Steve
  19. I was out there for awhile on Sunday. We didn't see anyone so we hiked around for a while before it started raining and we decided to head out. Let me know if you guys decide to do anything in Framingham.
  20. I think I'm gonna try and make it out there tomorrow to do a little skating with you guys. Gotta break in the new Fatboy deck. Anyone know if they have firepits or those little grills at this place? Fleck
  21. Maybe someone will want to trade my manhood back to me for some pictures of Noah slow dancing with a cowboy in New Mexico? Or maybe that picture should just be the next photo caption contest....

    Name My Cat

Thanks for all the suggestions! The kitten is long haired and black, so we ended up naming him Bear. Not very original, but very fitting. He also has extra toes that make his feet look like big bear paws.

    Name My Cat

The girlfriend and I are getting a kitten tomorrow, and I have been told I need to pick a name. I'm thinking something snowboard related, so I figured this would be the best place to get some ideas. Anyone?
