  2. Is yoga sexy or just what hippies do?

    But it just made me surly and act inapropiatly. My wife and I where going to a gym together a few years ago, and she agreed to do the meathead lifting I wanted to do if I took yoga classes with her. We went to classes that were taught by older boulder hippy chicks, and soon found myself, a deceptively flexible barrelchested bhuddabellied meat head, in the unlikely role of teachers favorite. Well, I have trouble keeping my wiseass sarcastic new jersey attitude in check to begin with, and yoga seemed to make it worse. As the classes progressed, I started asking my wife in my best north jersey guido voice soft enough so only she could hear, things like "my bawls, what am I supposed to do with my bawls" in any pose that was uncomfortable, or changing "nameste " to "oh*****'*a", causing my honey to break into giggles and get dirty looks from those around us. This, and a few incidents with clueless pedestrians from the burbs in the "big city" post class led us to rethink the relationship between myself and yoga.

    Awesome 2 days, sublime grooming, no crowds, and bluebird skies. Rode with a few locals, Larry, AJ, and Cliff who used to make pure carve boards. Lee, too bad you were up on business, it would have been fun to make some turns with you. Tiehack and javelin where awesome, I was killing it as well as maiming it on my vampire:1luvu:

    I like it alot, so much so that I passed the fcII on to Ink. I don't know what has happend to D's knee other than there is something seriously radically f 'n wrong with it that may have something to do ligaments.:( He hit some soft, went over the bars and thats all she wrote. He should be back down later today and can fill us in on the details.

    It is a Vampire, had a few issues getting used to the dampness and the "narrowness". Ray, sorry, but I am totally out of vacation time( used it up for ses) and cannot take any time off for a bit. Thank you for the invite!

    Dont know yet, phyllis and I are leaving stupid early on saturday and we may stay in glennwood or carbondale sat. night. I'll ride while she goes and does whatever, prob the vapor cave in glenwood. It will be cool to ride with you again stan.

    The cold may make it to Oz...

    I gave Dan and Vanessa a ride to dia on my way home, and got slammed with the 30 hr fever 1hr after I walked thru the door. I hope they made it okay. Should we rename Dave "Typhoid Tille"? Glad to hear you guys made it through the weather okay.
