Maybe you have a bigger valley? Or less unruly occupants?

Actually, I stated on our first date... "when the snow falls there's NO DISCUSSION !" Much to her chagrin she soon realized that I was/am serious. Although I have had to refresh her memory on that from time to time.
Like John E said, It's a matter of need !

I agree with that point John, but, before one can come in another must go out to keep peace in the valley. have 8-9 at the moment.

If you like riding with a crew... Loveland has 6-12 rippers on any and every Sunday. All really good riders and just plain good people. I rode with them for near 10 years. Loveland has the best snow conditions of any, as far as I'm concerned. Food is reasonable too. And as JRAZ said, the key to driving I 70 is leave EARLY, ride hard, out early. On a powder day that 2 hour drive can be 4+...

No internal dialog here. I'm so intensely focused on the moment that nothing else exists. I used to listen to heavy death metal, but it got me riding more aggressive than my body could handle. I typically ride 50 - 60mph so I don't want any mental distractions.

I thought I had read on this site that the UPZ boots had a 6 degree lift in the heel. As I was putting my equipment away for the season I decided to check this out with my digital level only to find out the the actual heel lift is 11.5 degrees. So, to ride with my front foot flat in my F2 bindings and UPZ boots I heed an 11.5 degree toe lift and not the 6 degree lift I am currently riding with.
Any thoughts?
What is the angle of other mfgrs boots ? "flat" is probably a relative term. I dare say all foot wear has heel lift to some degree. So UPZ set up is relative to the difference

"What do you call that?" was definitely the most frequently asked question of the season
I get that comment often...

Needed to get Sheila to a lower elevation. $61K for 1.3 acres AND a house. Might sell in a couple years after giving it the treatment. Probably double my money

So.... I bought a house in southern Oregon. We will be moving in about 6 weeks. My new home mountain will be Mt. Ashland. Gonna miss all you fruitbooter hooligans. Thanks for the support, friendship, and acceptance of this red-headed stepchild of the snow sliding world.

'' don't @ me bro''
Awesome tidbit of conversation I was subjected to by 3 nitwit stoner brah shredders in the parking lot as I was changing out of my gear this afternoon.
Other than that, an absolutely stellar day on the hill today, though I did manage to take myself out when I hit one of my own toeside trenches, folding the nose on the 195, and launching myself on my bhudda belly superman style, down about a third of the steepest pitch of roulette. Gave myself a good rib shot, which I didn't feel whilst leading our normal post ride no injuries toast, Though it is definitely making its presence known now. Crazy good turns made today by Dustin, Ice, James, Odd job, Yasu, and myself. Dude, from what I saw on that first run, you are going to rip on that new virus once you get it dialed in. Scott, ejoy that new prior, and let me know when joe is ready for some one on one. Btw, glad we didn't hop on the short bus today, both switchback and twist where closed for racing today, and will be again several times in the coming months, we need to hit that agin before we run out of time
I don't know about rippin, I was fearin for my physical being. I left feeling lots of muscles I didn't know existed...

Looks like 3 day Groom on Sunday, chompin' at the bit ova heah, hoping to feel just a touch infected by then, (translation: I am surely hoping that I can ride my rather large virus on sunday, it has been much to soft as of late for such shenanigans) if'n yaknowwhatimean. Inky, can you play hooky? D's meetin' me at the house, and I have room in the luxurious silver sled for ya!

Your infection is contagious. I will be testing my new to me Cyborg 181, 14.5 waist. Big camber and stiff.

Good afternoon, evening or whatever it is over where you are.
Have just seen your ad on the forum and wondered to whether you still have your skwal for sale and, if so would you be prepared to send it to the U.K.?
Also do you by any chance have the bindings?
Regards
Peter.
I have a lightly used set of the "newer style" Thias Skwal bindings.
(they have been in a box for the last 25 years) They are an all plastic base. P.M. me with an email address and I'll send some pics.
$100 + shipping from Colorado U.S.A.
I run Cateks with no issues. They allow cant, lift to get just what you want.

I thought I would start a thread to share the excitement about this event... to try and keep the other threads to the business they were intended to be for.
Stoke #1 My Mom was at the hair salon today in Libby (home of Turner Mtn). She said that the hair dresser had said she had heard that I was brining a group of snowboarders from all over the US and Canada to Turner and how excited the community of Libby is to have us!
Stoke #2. Talking with one of the Board of Directiors from Turner.... “They will be rolling out the red carpet for us, and it will be groomed beautifully”
When I rented White Pine in Wyoming 3 years ago, i had them do a deli meat, mac salad, potato salad, etc... smorgasbord type lunch. Included water and soda. Basically all you wanted to eat. I think they did it for $14 each. It made it easy for them to set-up/prep and no cooking to wait on. Lunch was 11:00-1:00 . Maybe you could ask them and those who are going if something along those lines could be worked out. Could be dishes of pasta, Lasagna, or ????

with near 100 attendees the local food and drink income will be great for them.

Amazing save indeed. I road raced Motorcycles for 10 years @P.I.R in Portland, Oregon. Love "carving" on a motorcycle. I love carving the mountains on my bike in the summer.
