    Here are the dates for the 2016 Nakiska Expression Session. Friday, January 15, 2016. Saturday, January 16, 2016. Sunday, January 17, 2016. Every January a group of Canadian snowboard carvers get together and congregate at a Nakiska, ski hill in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. This hill is where the 1988 Olympic Alpine events took place. The Naksiska Expression Session (NES) is in it's 8th year and sees riders from all over western Canada attend. Steve (Riceball) Recsky coordinates the event, takes photos and opens his home to everyone on Saturday night for picture/video viewing, pizza and beer. If you are interested in attending this hard-booter event, you can contact Riceball via the Bomberonline Forum, email, cell phone or just show up and ride! Spread the word!

    Correct. I was shooting JPEG's only. The full resolution image can be downloaded my drilling down into the image and clicking on download. Did this not work for you?

    My SES 2015 photos are up in Photo Bucket. To download a photo, drill down into it and look for the "Download" link on the lower right-hand side of the page. I'm actually looking to get away from Photo Bucket as there are way too many advertisements on there now. So, if you can handle that, download away!     Lots of interest in NES for 2016 from the international community down at SES this year. I'll be working to make it bigger and more exposed over the next year.

    FYI, they just announced they will resume grooming Red Crow again at Nakiska. Yea! They called it an "experiment" leaving ungroomed.

    Just watched this video again since the SES 2015 banquet. I agree with all of Corey's comments regarding comfort at higher speeds and how terrifying it was at a lower side-slipping velocity. I will definitely try it again, but I'm not sure if I'll actually purchase one quite yet.

    "Head-Smashed-In-Buffalo Jump" was really tough to ride clean. We only really started to have satisfaction on day 3.
