    I'm going to try and be there at least by 8:30 as there will probably be a lot of equipment set-ups to be done. Lunch will be upstairs in the main lodge at 11:30 to beat the crowds.

    Another great day of riding today at Nakiska with some new snow to make things extra carvey. Found some new hard booters and invited them out for next weekend. Followed that up with a hot tub and a beer which made for a great overall day. Looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend.

    Awesome day today. About -2C. Crowds were crazy, but it didn't affect riding much. Snow was really good where I was riding, although I stayed away from the high traffic areas. Upper North Axe is now open however it kicked my ass. I would say the score today was steep section 3 me 2.

    I was there last weekend and just kept hitting up North Axe and it was just fine. I just had trouble keeping my feet warm. I'll be riding tomorrow so will give you an updated report then. They should have Upper North Axe knocked down by then. I'll also be speaking withe the Events Coordinator about grooming that weekend. Stay tuned!

    I have been talking to Nakiska Events staff and hope to have the event up in their Events Calendar soon. I have been out there twice so far and the conditions haven't been that great. Hopefully things will improve with the new snow and cooler temperatures. I hope to get out there this week, if I ever get over my holiday flu.

    Here are the dates for the 2015 Nakiska Expression Session. Friday, January 16, 2015. Saturday, January 17, 2015. Sunday, January 18, 2015. Saturday night Ann and I will host everyone at our place for pizza, drinks and photo/video viewing. Detailed itinerary coming soon. Spread the word!

    Looks like I won't be able to get to the Bomber house tonight as my flight gets in late. If anyone happens to be going to the house tonight and is staying near the Pololodi Lodge in Snowmass, could they pick up the packages for Steve and Ann Recsky? If not, I get someone to pull courier duty Saturday morning at Buttermilk for me to get the packages from Tiehack. Thanks!

    Is anyone staying in Snowmass village that is going to the Bomber house Friday night? I'm not arriving until about 9pm Friday night so likely won't be able to get over there in time to pick up our session packages. If someone could just pick up the packages for Ann and myself, we could meet up somewhere in Snowmass and do an exchange later that night. We are staying at the Pokoladi Lodge. Thanks!

    Yes, that's probably doable. I also failed to get the event in their calendar this year. Although last year they couldn't figure out how to get it into their Event Calendar for multiple days so it was only advertised for the Friday.

    You're most welcome. It was great to see it get a little bit bigger again this year and see some new attendees. I think at one point we had 18+ carvers on the hill. If anyone has any ideas to make the weekend better or promote the event more, let me know. I have already been asked to approach YYZ Canuck and Bomber for some sponsorship stuff to give away.
