I will also be bringing extra loaner gear. I'll try and post an inventory soon so that people can speak up and reserve things with me ahead of time.
I have about 4 or 5 pairs of boots, extra boards and 3 or 4 sets of various plate bindings.
I know Alaina's boyfriend Matt will likely be taking a full setup for Saturday or Sunday.
We are getting closer to the 2013 event and based on comments in this thread on on the hill we should have another good turnout this year.
Once again you should try and keep Saturday (Jan 12) night open for pizza and drinks at the Recsky household. 78 Springbank Cres SW.
Also, post here if you need a ride out to Nakiska. A lot of us are heading up there with empty seats and have room on some days to take other people.
Woo hoo! We are now an official event on the Nakiska calendar.

Alaina is also working on an event logo for us. We would like to do T-shirts. Stay tuned.
I think Darcy and Wonser are heading to Nakiska today. I'm heading to Lethbridge for a Roller Derby bout tonight and then back tomorrow to watch the Stamps/Riders game. No riding for me this weekend :(
Just an FYI that I was contacted by Alexis in Greece to contribute to Carve Magazine once again. Given that I missed SES last year, I have submitted photos I took from NES last year. If he selects an NES photo of someone, I'll be contacting them for release approval. I'll keep you posted.
My current 700's are toast. Just checking to see if anyone has some boots that are under 2 years old for sale before I go out and buy new ones.
I'd like another set of 700's, but 325's will also do.
Thanks!
I usually stay at the Pokolodi in Snowmass, however the first few days appear to be sold out so I need to look elsewhere. My flights are booked and I am arriving there Thursday night because I booked on points.
Possibly. I hyper-extended my good knee in Soccer last Thursday so am still healing. I really want to hit up Nakiska on the 11th if I'm able. Louise has left me bitter since going there on the NES weekend.
My copy just arrived yesterday. Awesome job Alex. Thank you for all your time and effort. Also a big thank you for allowing me to be part of the photobook section. The Nakiska Expression Session starts tomorrow, so I will be showing off the mag to many of the participants. Expect more orders!
If anyone is interested in dinner Friday night, let me know. It would have to be no later than 6pm as I have a soccer match that evening. I was thinking about Salt and Pepper Mexican in Bowness or Sushi Ichiban at Market Mall.
Most people have committed to Friday/Saturday in Nakiska. Some people have even changed work-shifts to ride in Nakiska on Saturday because there was a chance we were going somewhere else on Sunday.
We can talk about it more tomorrow.
I'll have Neil, Darcy and Wonser coming to the hill with me in the morning.
Just got back from 1/2 a day at Nakiska today. From the last pitch under Silver and up was great snow. Generally, it got a bit deeper the higher you went up. Red Crow on Gold was fantastic although it appears they didn't groom it so I had to be careful not to stuff the nose in to deep. North Axe on the front was definitely bullet-proof near the bottom. It wasn't Kurt's imagination. I hear there was some rain on the lower sections this past week. That would explain a lot. I saw Alex and Jeff today riding and ran into Chris in the lodge. The way the snow is setting up now, next weekend should be perfect.
