  1. Any suggestions for Freeriding 3 buckle hardboots. Looking for a 27 or 27.5 something similar to a Raichle 123, or if you have a Raichle 123 you're willing to part with. We need these boots to be very flexible, as we're using them for freeriding and in the bumps. Thanks Fischer

  3. Been riding one for 5 years and still riding it most every day out.
  4. We'll figure out something. Any recommendations? Especially for the conditons. Thanks Fischer
  5. We're leaving tomorrow, and the first day boarding will be Saturday. Not sure which Mt yet. We'll be there for 8 boarding days, and be on channel 7 27 on the Motorolas. Be two of us on powder boards, and on all Mt. carvers, and one very good skier, all conditons. Hopefully we won't be spending any time on the groomers. Let me know if you'll be up, and we'll try and hook up, and we'll have internet access, and be staying in Sandy. Thanks Fischer
  6. Quote" Unquote" Intentionally left blank, let's talk about something really important, like the next 8 days I'm boarding in Salt Lake. We'll be on 7 27 on the motorolas starting Saturday. Who's up for giving the tour? Fischer
  7. Hi, Ask cfj04 about the mods. He has done a pair. I wouldn't want to tell you exactly unless I knew for sure. There was another post for the bindings just a couple of threads down that has all that info. Thanks Fischer
  8. Pictures of Asym. DSC01198.zip DSC01199.zip
  9. Top of board is perfect, bottom is excellent. $175 plus shipping. DSC01198.zip DSC01199.zip
  10. Bottom is perfect, top has minor scuffs. I ran this board down the hill once. That is a guarantee. $125 plus shipping.
  11. Make sure you know which intec heels you have. I don't have a use for these because they don't fit my burton boards. Check the other thread for info on them.
  12. Burton Reactors. Bought years ago for my kid whose feet had already grown out of them. In very good shape. Tread on toe and heel excellent. Shell size is 27.5 to 28, and the liner is 28. Liners are as fresh as the excellent shape and don't smell. $115 shipped to US. DSC01196.zip DSC01197.zip
  13. Picture of boots. Make sure you note that these are not a race specific boot. They're flexible and easy riding. Thanks Fischer DSC01195.zip
  14. Let's put this in perspective. She's 20 years old, good looking, talented, and positive. This may be just a bump in the road, but "Having to live with it for the rest of her life", might be overstating it just a bit. She also got a Silver, and is now recognizable the world over, and I'd much rather be in that position than the woman who won the Gold by default. Now having given birth to George W. Bush, that would be something you'd have to live with for the rest of your life. Barbara, I feel for you.
  15. Brand New, never used Burton Freecarve 27.0, closer to 26.5 until packed out I think. These are not a race specific boot. Much more of an all Mountain carver. $100 plus shipping.
  16. Win a Gold Medal in Snowboarding in the Olympics, couple of years nobody remembers. Screw up in front of the whole world and still win a Sliver Medal at the Olympics and you will be immortalized, and have the Best Story of the Games. Priceless and even talent can't buy you that kind of fame and laughs for the rest of your life.
  17. Have mostly boards in the 155 to 160 range. Are you looking for something else for the wife?
  18. Thanks Alan. Shipping out this morning.
  19. Personal opinion. As I've commented before, I ride the bumps and the steeps. The only way that I've been able to do it, is to ride with my "Soft Raichle 123 Hardboots" in the walk mode. They're duct-taped in the walk position. That coupled with flex-bindings (Burton Carrier step-ins), allows me to flex and absorb bumps and landings. I can go from a carving stance to butt on the board as fast as needed. As I watched the Hardbooters, they all seemed way to ridgid. I'm in no way comparing myself to them, it's just an observation from someone who rides in as variable terrain as possible. As soon as I get too locked in to the boots, that is in the ride mode, everything is transmitted from the board to the knee, to the waist, to the back. I figured after I quit skiing that I wanted to make snow as fun as possible, and ended up in hardboots that had some attributes of hardboots, but still had almost as much freedom as softboots. Of course this doesn't hold true when strictly carving in Minnesota, but in Seattle, I don't want to do much except off-piste and bumps, and that would seem to be mimicing boardercross to some extent. I've also adusted stance width lately, spreading it out a bit, and that tends to add more control to variable conditions, especially going from Cascade Concrete to skied out bumps and going to hard-pack bumps. Anyway, just a thought. Try everything and don't be afraid to experiment. I'm having the best year hitting the bumps so far, because I've screwed up some settings on my boards, and got out there and boarded before I realized what had happened, and it has changed my style, and performance.
  20. Brand new, still in wrapper. $160 shipped to US.
  21. Just read this and thought it should be passed on. Careful with these first generation INTECs. The first generation had smaller pins/holes on the heels. I bought a pair used and had to email and call Austria about 2 dozen times to get a set of new generation heel receivers. Once converted, the bindings are great. Just make sure you either have old style heels on your boots, or have access to some new heel receivers. Mark Thanks Fischer
  22. Burton Performance Plate. Excellent, almost no usage, couple days at most. Switched to step-ins just after I bought these. Aluminum base plate. Ridgid. $85 shipped to US.
