  1. Remember when you do this a warm boot makes it much easier. Cold plastic is like a wife whose birthday was forgotten.
  2. My wife wasn't on the list. No vote.
  3. Actually grocery store lines are really fun. You can ask people the most off the wall questions, elicit a smile and have a great conversation. There is really something wrong when we're standing in line pretending not to notice someone. I look forward to every Tuesday at 7:55 am. That's when the Garbage comes. I get out there with him and throw cans and then shoot the breeze with him. Hand him a granola bar and both of us leave with a smile on our faces.
  4. Kinpa (Kathy) Thanks for the info. It's good to hear that someone else likes a shorter board for quick turns. Great for dodging the detritus on the slopes. I'll pass the info on.
  5. That's good to know. I've never been on the board so I wasn't quite sure how it rode. If it's not too personal a question, may I ask you height and weight. I just spoke to a delightful woman who's planning on taking Hardbooting and was wondering if it was the right fit for her once she got her carving legs under her. Bumpyride
  6. I've found the perfect board for what I like to do. I don't think it would even be possible to improve on it, and besides I'm having too much fun. I currently have 5 of them, and I only paid $150 new because no one else wanted them. The first one I had and folded the nose after about 200 hard days off piste. Now if Bruce would be willing to build an experimental non metal board for about $400, I would be tempted. From what I've heard about metal, I wouldn't want to risk it for what I do. I have no doubt that the new boards on piste are superior to the old school board, but I've been able to Euro even on my 156 skinny unwanted inferior board (at least according to some). It's a whole lot of technique. Remember when we were young and we blasted through the woods on our "Huffys". We didn't worry about the next technological improvement. We were having too much fun.
  7. $75 same as last year for local pick up and no shipping.
  8. I can drop them off at your buddies house same as last time, or if you like we can do it some other way. I have a pass to Crystal this year so chances are slim I'll be at Hyak.
  9. That's what a guy gets for not wearing his readers. The bindings are a large. They fit me and I wear a 27 and I know they fit a 10.5 because I let a friend use they once and he wore a 10 1/2.
  10. 2 pairs Step-in Carriers in very good condition. $85 shipped to US. Rat trap Race in excellent condition. $110 shipped to US. These will fit most all Snowboard Specific Hard boots, and work quite well.
  11. These are in excellent condition Medium Large (I think). Bought them just before I bought Hard Boots. I had 3 pairs of the 3 Strap, still have a couple left and really only need one on hand. $100 shipped.
  12. Bought this for my wife several years ago and she never progressed enough to try it. Brand new board. $100 plus shipping.

  16. These were supposed to be for my boy that moved back to Minneosta. NOS perfect conditon. $125 plus shipping SOLD
  17. I've had these for years with the hope that someone around hear that I would teach would be able to use them. Didn't happen, so here they go. In very very good condition. Nothing wrong and the liners do not smell. $75 plus shipping.
  18. Still have a couple of pair. Bumpyride.
  19. I have 1 set of heels that I'm willing to part with, but with a set of bindings. Heels are new. $75. If you're looking for truly an all mountain, I don't think any of these really fit the bill. Actually the Airwalk would be the best of the bunch. Floats pretty well, not real stiff, upturned nose, and would be good for bustin' through crud, but not good for anything over a couple of inches of fresh. It would definitely be too small for you on piste and too small in a bunch of fresh snow, but easy to learn on and very lively. I use a Burton Ultra-prime off piste, till it gets over 3 to 4 inches, because I like the ability of a small board to make radical directional changes off piste and in bumps and crud. (That's why the Bumpyride moniker). Also have an Oxygen F67 that would more fit the bill. Little bigger board, with more float and still carveable. Included in this picture. $125 plus shipping. This board I've never been on, so I can't really tell you how it will perform other than it looks about right.
