  1. The one of the picture is the Asym plate, it is used now for two years in the junior world championships and European championships. Now the new one for all symetrical boards we call "full throttle plate"!
  2. Like this one! Yes it´s true, we have a new plate system, but we wait selling it until the season startet and all others are also on the market! So then everybody can compare which he likes most! Price will be around 600 to 700 USD! It will be compatible to UPM pattern and we will on an adaption plate for 4x4!
  3. For me the new Kessler plate looks little bit like the one I rode at the SES 2 years ago, long time for engineering this one, but it seems it works!
  4. If you overtorque a screw, or want to ad a wedge or change something, then you don´t want to have spareparts sent from Germany!? Or will you? It´s easier to get parts if you want to change something. we had enough problems over here with broken special parts like "King Pins".... Nobody wants to waste a day on slope!
  5. Just for remember, the Phiokka Macho came from my design, after Phiokka produced our Powerlock one binding. The new one is a new design with some options we missed at the old one. Easy to adjust, lightweight and nukeproof! Yes we use the F2 parts like wedges and Intec heel reciever because its the best and spareparts are availlable allmost over the whole world! So no trouble and painful searching for broken parts! We have a high grade steel 6 mm bail in front and rear and one size fits all boot sizes. The plate and center disk is made from 7000 series alloy polished and the anodized! It´s produced by a German producer mostly working for the automotive industry. The included dampening plate is made to soak up the muscle paining micro vibrations and is availlable in three different sizes to match the boards width. Yes, Virus does the new Worldcup custom series for F2 and lots of new serial shapes coming up in the future.
  6. Thank you, I will try to respect for the future!
  7. As long as as I´m banned from your homepage, stay there with all your friends and fans and please keep concentrated on your new superduper brandnew hyper innovative "DUAL" supercarvingpowderextremcarveboard! The whole world waited very long for such an innovative unique product!
  8. Just my 5 cents! After 23 years of building more than 15.000 custommade snowboards, I think we have learned how to build a board. I think I know good enough to use materials and custommade inserts to prevent inserts from pulling out of the woodcore. Or prevent breaking titanal boards from breaking. At that time the most titanal boards broke, ours lasted! why? The board was from 2003/2004 it was bought used. we built most of the board for riders weigth, so what happens if now a 250 lbs rider uses a board which was made for a 160 lbs rider. Our most important aim is that the riders have a safe long lasting board with excellent riding qualities. We use the most exotic materials, which are higly expensive and then we calculate a price. I have studied mechanical engineering with chemical and composite construction. I worked in different ski and snowboard companies and did engineering and scientifical research in one of the biggest high tech fiber manufaturers worldwide. So why should I need help from anybody? Fact is in some circumstances a board can break, a bail of a binding can break and also a baseplate of a binding can break! The dynamic loads kill the material and sometimes unexperienced riders! So Mister Varsava, please excuse my sarcasm! But its not your turn to comment others in any way! Built your boards in your way and let the customers choose!
  9. Hi Bruce, nice to hear that you are still alive! For your info, the board is from 2003/2004 season and was bought used! What the first user did with that board nobody knows! I didn´t know what you did at that time 2003 / 2004( rumours I heard: You worked as a nurse!?) So please let us know more from your innovations! All new boards I saw from you are innovated by a well known guy making all the competition boards for worldcup riders from Switzerland. What´s your news and innovations!? rocker nose and tail? Titanal with carbon stripes? A woodcore? A running base!? Ahhh now I know !!!! Tatatata! Here it comes: :lurk:"A CUSTOM PRINTED TOP SHEET":lurk: Congrats! Sorry but you should now it best, every board could be damaged!
  10. For me there is one fact! I DON`T ride at Keystone!
  11. If you look for a Powdergun which also carves a little bit. Billy Bordy also fell in love with it! Virus La Glisse 186 could be a reason.
  12. No probs Mats, we can make the board for kids in any length, each color you like, This Rookie 99 is for a boy 4 years old height 111cm coming from Brazil! Alpine snowboarding won´t die if we bring our kids on alpine boards! Why shouldn´t they start with the latest technology, we like to use too and have fun with instead of crappy plastic boards! I bought 20 kids plate bindings to have enough stock for the next few years! Hope the will be few more "Sugardaddys" who let their children try alpine boards!
  13. David ( Rookie 99) vs. Goliath ( Executor 203 Evolution II) Here are the new Virus toys called Rookie 99, 99 cm long 17 cm center full rockernose+ tail race shape, carbon kevlar construction with titanal inlays! Executor 203, 203 cm long 15.5 cm center, rocker shape nose, carbon kevlar titanal construction. His big brother SPARTAN 205, 205 cm long 19.2 cm center is also in the pipeline!
  14. We are going to Sölden glacier today testing the latest gear today, 30 inches of snow last 2 days, next 3 days forecast sunny and cold!
  15. Which boards do you want, just called the shipping company, they will place the container in front of your house this afternoon! You can start breaking out your floor at once!;)
  16. I like your floor! Looks amazing! Just building a house and look for a floor like these!
  17. Hi Ladia, your La Glisse is ready sitting here for you! The difference between Scalpel and the new Scalpel Premium is that it produces more edgegrip and more running silence. Its very lite and works in soft conditions better than the Scalpel Titanium! So I think at the moment its an optimum combination! I will post a few pics and also of a few new boards !
  18. We actually make the board in length 161 / 167 length for slalom, and 186 / 195 for GS. For the GS boards I have built a special asymetric plate which loads up the energy if you bent the boards gives it back out of the turn, with the plate the board is very good damped and it feels very save. I had a few at SES 09 but I think it was too early and too futuristic for the most to give it a try.
  19. For all those of you who want to know what back to future means!? Maybe here is the answer! Just a few of those babies are on the way to US World Cup riders, maybe they will take them to the Olympics? We will see where the journey goes trough! I never have ridden an easier handling and faster board ever!
  20. Fin, I think you are on a very good way to make a new masterpiece! but in should be availlable for all types of bindings! Maybe you have an idea to adapt all the other stuff! I would prefer the rubber type i think! A little bit more travel would be helpfull I think! Biggest respect, regards Frank!
  21. German aggressive snowboard manufacturers!? I know a few of them who do you mean!? You can ride what you want even polished mat black or something else who cares! An agressive person in not the person who says that, what others say hidden behind someones back because they fear the consequences! That´s a person that has to tell something! I know you are a very good friend who supports a Swiss snowboard brand, ( sorry the don´t manufacture anything!?) So I ´m not sure if they are less agressive to sell their stuff and not tell the true story they only make make their lonsome events. I know the greatest fear they have to take part on an event with other brands! But they have so many excuses everybody can understand! Who cares! One German manufacturer made a very nice new board which works really great (customers told that!) an was shown to the public at Joergs WCS Session in Davos! Not really mat black but who cares!
  22. I´m 185cm height and 190 pound heavy, where is your problem with the board!?
  23. Mark, I´m not angry about you for sure! Michele and Fin did a great job too, and it´s sure that not every custome can be 100% satisfied, but we are looking to come with a bigger group next year! This year I heard a lot of people which are not so satisfied like the years before and this makes me a little bit nervous how the future will be. The were a lot of smaller groups doing theit own thing and the idol of big community is shrinking instead of increasing! That statement I did was my personal opinion and I know that not everybody is satisfied about that, but that´s me and my way to find solutions! I want to see this sport growing doesn´t matter wich brand and where the riders come from! and not beeing splitted in small group which are doing their own thing. If we don´t do that our sport will die!
  24. Maybe, but I tell the truth even if it´s hard for some superfans!
  25. I also agree with Max and Alex, as a sponsor to be charged for everything I haven´t seen before. As a sponsor we are also part of the event! I felt more than a participant than a sponsor this year! The group ticket is 51 USD per day for your info, so everybody who can count, its not a gift! Yes Fin and Michelle did a lot to make that event work! thumbs up and thank you! But if it should work as a session it should not be that commercial! That´s really nice work they do, but the last 4 years I think the quality goes down by 50 %! Pay more and more for less! A test is a test and in Europe it´s still free to test a board for 2 hours on such events! By the way who got the money for the tested boards, we offered that boards for free, a rental shop has to buy the boards before he can give them out for rental! I think there is a lot of work necessary to make this event working for the future! Sorry, but just the impression I got from this event! ´ The highlight for me was Joerg Egli´s and the Hardbooter party! Thank´s guys! I want not put oil in the fire, I only wat to tell my impressions! Regards Frank
