  1. what the heck are you thinkin ghostrider, theres no powder here ever man, you know something i dont?
  2. Speed Demon, just this past weekend on sunday, i had a 2 hour drive back to school, on the way i witnessed a motorcycler get hit by a car, he ended up in the middle of the road and his bike was like 30 yards off into the woods. But that was when i first started, later on the expressway i drove by the scene of another motorcycle accident, not sure what happened there, but i know there were 2 people on the bike, so if you decide on a bike, be carefull, they don't offer quite as much protection as a car would.
  3. i was driving a 1988 jeep wrangler that had been in the family since 89, had 200000 when i finally dropped it off and picked up a newer pile of crap, now its a 91 thunderbird with 87000 and i've had it for 2 years. i would do anything now to get the wrangler back, unfortunantly i can't afford to get another one yet
  4. i dont even know where he is, i just assumed cause he said close to detroit
  5. you're right, but from me thats 6 hours, and from gtanner you can probably add an hour to that...might as well stay in canada
  6. well i never said you couldn't learn, i just said it would be worth the time to go somewhere else, and yeah nice pic, i've been waitin for someone to take a shot of me but i'm not such a purdy sight.
  7. you'd probably actually save money doing that, the places you can board here charge an arm and a leg for everything. you might as well find a really nice resturaunt there too, that is if you planned on eating resort food at a place in michigan, it would cost about the same.
  8. There aren't any, the most verticle you'll find in michigan close to you is roughly 250 feet. There is Mt.Brighton and Alpine Valley, they both suck bigtime. If you want something worth riding you're going to have to go north. Theres lots of stuff that you still might not findworth your time there. Crystal Mountain, Schuss and Shanty Creek, Nubs Nob, Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands. Over on the west side of the state there is another crap pile called Swiss Valley, but Timber Ridge is pretty good. Other than all of those, which i don't suggest going to anyway, there is some good stuff in the U.P. , but if you're lookin for something with over a thousand vert, stay in Canada cause you won't find it here. I've always thought it was worth the drive to go to Searchmont and Mt.Tremblant, and that's a long long ways for me, so if you know either of those places you should be able to figure out what we are lacking here in michigan. If i left out any other descent michigan hills, i'm sure another michigander will fill them in for me, other than that, post on this forum about the time you decide to try one out and i'll see if i can't join ya. 9. man those were hardly dunes in that first link, when i said sandboarding on dunes, i meant huge dunes, with like, more verticle than my home mountain, which resembles a garbage dump more than it does a mountain anyway. GO MT.BRIGHTON lol piece of crap hill. p.s. Aspen Extreme is a great flick
  10. are you crazy? theres never a lack of snow, just check behind your local ice rink, they always have a stash, and most of them don't mind if you take as much of it as you please...
  11. i would love to see a video clip
  12. where are you from? i'd love to come ride with you sometime, maybe it'll give me a chance to get out of michigan. can't say i'm any good at hardbootin, but i do enjoy it, and a good laugh at those who think they are the best is always fun too
  13. those are some sweet still poses
  14. who'd a thought it would end like that?
  15. CMC you think very highly of yourself, maybe you should keep it to yourself, just my opinion...
  16. sorry, i just want something to read away from my computer, didn't mean to start anything here, still think it would kick ass if it happened
  17. I think someone should go into business. There's a pretty good size market, and there is no competition that anyone can come up with as of now. I would begin to think about it accept i don't know the half of alpine boarding, and there is no way i could ever hold my own.
  18. Mountain Dew, goes good with about 4 hours of sleep a night
  19. I on the other hand, have never had a sip of alcohol in my life.
  20. sounds like the fool got what he deserved...
  21. sometimes snow gets into the bindings where you can't see it, looks dry on the outside, but that stuff has to melt eventually.
