    Coiler NSR

I can take a picture of the tip and tail, hopefully tonight. I think the base has wax on it right now. I will double check though. I can take a picture with the wax no problem, I would rather not take the wax off to take a picture, unless the picture was just to assure the buyer and take the sale to 100%.

The picture is just a picture of the board, it happens to have bindings and a plate on it. The bindings and plate have been sold previously. This listing is just for the board.
  3. BXFR70

    Coiler NSR

Coiler NSR 185 14-20 SCR 6.5+10 flex, 20 waist It was built late February 2013, and ridden for 6 days only. The side edge is 3, base is 1. There is nothing worth mentioning on the board, as far as anything wrong with it. It has UPM and 4x4 inserts. It has a p-tex top sheet, plain black base. Board comes with a Bomber board bag. Asking $700 plus shipping. The pictures show tip, tail, worst part of edge, its not really of any concern, you can just barely feel it if you run your finger against the point of the edge. Board only, bindings and plate are gone. Would consider trading for a soft boot board, metal constructions, BX orientated or soft boot carve, at least high 160s length with at least 140s effective edge, excellent condition.
  4. Bindings are now sold. So, Plate, Bindings, and BP kit are sold. Board is still available. Still reasonable offer is considered.
  5. Thanks, I will not be completely out of it, carving skis, and I am building another soft boot board, I have been talking to Bruce about that, getting a game plan for what I want. Hard boots just did not work out quite like I had wanted or figured.
  6. Yes, I am sorry, everything is OK with the plate, I had some issues that I should have made you aware of, but I had it sent out today, I am really sorry for the delay, I apologize for being a deadbeat seller. I try not to be. Sent you an email with the tracking number. Andy82, I got your email, the plate is gone.
  7. Thanks, Do you know if the red part has teeth on it, that mate with the binding highback? and do you know if the hook part just screws through the red part into the binding? I do not know if they will work with my bindings, depends on the teeth, but if not, I may be able to use just the hook, as the way to tighten my adjustors to the highback, in place of the screw that is on them now. thanks,
  8. I am not familiar with the boots, but going by google images, they do not seem to have the original. how the above works is, the highback has a molded in toothed portion, and then this hook, silver and white part is attached to another mirror image of the teeth, and you set the forward lean, and then the hook locks the highback upright.
  9. Basically, I want to buy 2 forward lean locks for Burton bindings, the hook part in the attached picture that locks the highback to the heel loop. the one I need is this exact one, it would have teeth on the part that the swivel/hook is attached to. The exact ones pictured and described are for sure what came on the Burton Si-X step in binding. I know this is a long shot, but it would greatly help me. thanks,
  10. Mineral spirits does work well to remove gunk, however, it will also saturate your base, along with any oily type product. Wax for sure, look at each manufacturer, and something they recommend for higher humidity, for some thats a higher fluoro wax, or a different wax all together. checkout racewax.com they make some of their own wax, or tognar tool. To remove gunk, the best method is to hot scrape. You would want a warm temp wax, cheap hydrocarbon will do. You will want to put it on and have it still molten and soft, and then you scrape it off, while still as hot as possible, on a snowboard this may mean re-heating some of the base. Do not go crazy with heat though. You will see the wax that comes off is brown or black or whatever color the contaminents are in your base, you would want to do this until the wax is clear. Also, if you did use mineral spirits or anything, you would have to use this method to get rid of any contaminents from the chemicals or oils. Base cleaners strip your base of wax also, so the hot scrape method really is the best.
  11. I will also sell just the td3 bindings without the cants/elastomers etc. everything is also best reasonable offer. Thanks
  12. I talked to Bruce, my board was built for just over 200 lbs. Also, the BP 2nd board kit is gone. as an FYI, the +10 or any + and # is the decamber he used. Thanks,
  13. Lonbordin, I sent you a message on the BP Kit, I would sell that separate.
  14. I weigh 220, but Bruce said that he doesn't like to go over 200, as they just get exponentially stiffer, and may end up too stiff. I would have to ask Bruce specifically, I am not sure if someone else can tell from the flex numbers Bruce uses. also, my pictures are not uploading for some reason?? Thanks,
  15. For sale is the following: Coiler NSR 185 14-20 SCR 6.5+10 flex, 20 waist It was built late February 2013, and ridden for 6 days only. The side edge is 3, base is 1. There is nothing worth mentioning on the board, as far as anything wrong with it. It has UPM and 4x4 inserts. It has a p-tex top sheet, plain black base. Board also comes with a Bomber board bag. Asking $700 plus shipping. Bomber Boiler Plate 5mm Plate is in good shape, all hardwear, UPM mount, it has new bushings, and I have the old ones, that seemed to have a little play. Also, I have a wunderbar for it. Asking $400 plus shipping. Bomber TD3 Bindings The base part of binding, that toe and heel blocks go onto has been used for a season, the heel and toe blocks and bails have only been used maybe 8-10 times, they started out as step-ins, and I went to bails. I have BP lower assemblies with a 3 and 6 degree cant. I also have regular assemblies with blue pads, and a 3 and 6 degree cant. All hardware, screws etc is present. Asking $300 plus shipping. I will accept paypal gift function or a money order, money order will need to be cashed etc before shipment. Also, make a reasonable offer on anything, I do want the stuff to go, it is all in very good shape. I am not going to be snowboarding anymore, so I am selling my stuff. Thanks
  16. Mechanicsburg, what state? if PA, I am in northeastern PA, and may have a plate you can try and then buy depending where you ride etc. PM or email me.
  17. do you usually ski at Hunter? turn your email on through the forum.
  18. For sale is a Bomber Boiler Plate 5 mm. It has not been modified in any way. The plate has not been used that much, I do not know exact days. UPZ mount, all hardware as original from Bomber is included. I replaced the bearings and sliders on the hardware. I also have a Wunderbar, it definitely makes putting it on and off the board much easier. I weigh 220 lbs, and do not think the 5mm is that stiff. I am able to flex it, and feel it flex, I know it has kind of gotten some bad press in the past. It may just be that others weigh a lot less, or they like a different feel, but I do not think it was too stiff by any means. I am asking $400 I accept money order or paypal. Money order must clear before shipment, and Paypal will be using the gift function. Let me know if you have any further questions.
  19. The SVST base edge guide is the best, but it is also expensive. The BEAST tools are pretty good, I have some of them. I chose the BEAST, as you really don't need to use a base edge guide that much. Once your angle is set, and you are just polishing the base edge, for maintenance, it is not necessary.
  20. I want to chime in here, as I have gone through a lot ofwork with snowboard boots. I am just goingto tell you about myself. <o:pI tried hardboot snowboarding at 2010 ECES. I tried the demo Trac 325's with 5 positionforward lean, with the non thermo liner. They were okay, I did not really get them all adjusted perfectly for me,but they did the job, to try it etc. <o:pI ordered some Trac 700's, I was told they fit the same, they never fit well, particularly with the stock thermo liner. I also bought a BTS after reading/hearing how great they were. I was not unimpressedwith the BTS itself, but the boots were so soft, softer than Burton Driver XBoots fore and after at least. Laterally, they were stiffer, but once into my soft bindings, that I had dialed exactly how I wanted with Driver X or Malamutes, the hard boots werenever that much stiffer, even with just the five position forward lean installed. <o:pFor the tracks to work for me, I needed to put quite a bit of money into them and change liners. <o:p</o <o:pSo, at the end of the year, I was pretty much giving up on the boots, as they were not stiff enough for me, as I had gotten a lot better,I was sort of noticing more about the boots. I was also getting a little bored with hard boots, and the sort of the one dimension. Also, I ride in a racestyle, I do not finish carves, and in the past, I rode with the same style with soft boots, but would just ride fast and have fun. <o:pI talked to some bootfitters, and Beckmann really helped me out as the bootfitter I had used was MIA. My bootfitter called me back kind of randomly, and was familiar with my foot, and recommended the Head Raptor RS 130 over the Lange for my foot as aboot that I could try and continue to ski with, as I had decided that too. <o:pSo, I bought some on a really good sale, at the end of theyear, knowing I was going to be skiing mainly this year anyway, but they fit myfoot shape extremely well, a narrower last, but I did not need to do anythingwith them, as the shape fit me. <o:pI did snowboard with them, and finally, hardbootsnowboarding felt like what I thought it should and had been expecting from dayone.<o:p</o <o:pI now am skiing, and the movements and reasons my feet usedto hurt does not come into play skiing as much, so, in hindsight, I probably shouldhave switched awhile ago. <o:pTo what was said above I really think it depends on what theperson is trying to do with the boots, and also their skill level and physical makeup.<o:p</o</o</o</o</o</o</o</o</o</o
  21. For sale is a pair of Deeluxe Track 700’s purchased end of 2012, used for this season. Size 26.</SPAN></SPAN> They are used, they have some scuffs and scratches particularly on the right boot between the front 2 buckles, from hitting on corner of TD3 binding when getting off the lift.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> They have been modified some.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> The upper inside of each shell has been cut some, to allow the liner to move outward a little for more room for upper calves. </SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> The outside of each shell has been cut to give a booster strap’s buckle a place to sit better.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> Between the 1st and 2nd buckle, outside of each boot has been punched out some.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> The Liner in them now is an Intution FX Race, the tongue has been opened and sewn some to allow more space for instep, these liners have been molded once.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> Thermoflex liners, they have been molded twice, but some spots of fabric (red) have come off on the outside, so there is tape in those areas.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> The Spoiler is off, but I have it, along with hardware to attach.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> The Stock strap is off, but I have it.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> $250 shipped to lower 48.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> I am planning on keeping the WC booster, if you really want it, add $50 to price.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> Paypal is acceptable, if not using gift, add .30$ and 2.9%</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> Money order is also fine, cashed before shipment.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN> Thanks, </SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
