Have the TD3 Sidewinders still mounted from last season sitting in my garage. To keep things as supple as possible (yellow e-rings, blue e-pads), do you guys back off the mount a little, or completely remove the bindings from the board over the summer? Don't want the material to dry/brittle/rot over the summer.. Thanks, Randy

I've created a new thread moving forward regarding my research on boots. I need some new ones...my SB 324's are falling apart, or at least the stock liners are done. I bought these back in 2000. I'm thinking about grabbing a pair of Track 325 T 2012/13. I checked this site's store, but seem to be out of stock. I checked BT, and they have one more set of my size. Question: If you guys get a chance, can you check this product on BT, and tell me what liners are coming with the purchase...as I have no idea...never worn these type of liners before. Are they cheap junk or are they somewhat decent? Should I just purchase some new liners for my old SB's...? Hope all are well. I always seem to post questions about this stuff towards the end of the season, so...I'm back. I'm in Richmond, VA. I'm interested in, again, some new boots...my SB324's are tired and falling apart. I would like to try on, but no chance in hell of that happening locally. Mainly interested in UPZ and Deeluxe. I'm happy with my 324's, and am no racer...want all mountain carving, but mostly groomed/chopped with occasional powder. Currently in said boot and on an old 164 Volkl Spline with TD3 SW's...running 45 front, 35 back. About 220 pounds. If you knew of a shop that had a good offering that I could try on something that might meet my needs...any where in the USA, what shop would that be and where? I've got some miles burning a hole in my pocket, and just crazy enough to fly to try on and buy. Bomber, All Board Sports, etc? Thanks for your time as always!!!Randy KightRichmond, VA

This is going to hurt...so please be nice I'm selling my recently built/purchased custom Kessler 163 with the following info that Kessler sent to me: Kessler Custom Alpine KST 163 #6301 04/04/2011 Build Date Black top sheet 23 WW Use KST = variable side cut Starting with 7.8 in front going up to 11.0 in middle and back down to 8.8 in back I paid just shy of 2000 USD for this damn thing. I have only spent about 45 minutes on it, 3 runs total. Made for my weight 215, but Hans indicated he made it a friendlier version than his full bore race alpine model Not a ding/scratch/nada... 900 USD. Cannot believe I'm doing this...what a wallet hemorrhage. Randy

Wow, true thanks to all you guys for wonderful input, as everyone of you guys has far more experience than I. I've noted all mentioned in this thread and begin further research. I wish like hell I could spend a few days demo'ing some of these, but around here that's a pipe dream. I'm about 225lbs for those that have asked. As much as I'd like another custom, after the Kessler money hemorage, I'm reluctant to try the Coiler/Donek route. I might fly out West this next season and try a demo or two. I think I'm starting to sound picky/finicky. Just looking for that ultimate ride as we all are.

Thanks to all. Louis, I gather you are more hardcore/race oriented...I'm not. I like easy medium speed carving. Honestly, don't think I'd even like extreme carving that much, but I like the concept. I'm looking for a very "fun" board, easy to carve on varying conditions out here on the narrower trails of the EC. I spent money on a custom Kessler, 162/23ww, and to flat honest, not my cup of tea...little to demanding for my tastes. I gather from your experience, your Swoard is easy and comfortable and is not a demanding race oriented deck.

It this Pureboarding Two is not a 2x4, sounds like it's exactly what I'm after. Hope more chime in on riding experience. Sort of hijacked my own thread, but good info nonetheless. Randy

Thanks for all the time and help regarding. I'll continue research. I'm interested in learning more about the pureboarding product. From what I'm hearing, the 2 may be my next board. If any more info is known and can be shared about these boards, I'd greatly appreciate the info.

I wonder who makes these boards? Are they camber or rocker? I cant find WW measurements. I'm interested.

Since the search function is disabled/not working, and I did not see any reviews related at first blush, I thought I'd put a request out to see if anyone can give me some feedback regarding this guy. I see that this company produces a wider variant, which definitely suits my lower angles, and it would seem by their advertising that their boards are softer in nature than most. Marketing is one thing, personal experience can be another story. Can I get those that have ridden this guy to give me thoughts regarding? I'm interested in a new carving board, but this time around, something easy and surfy feeling that will allow off piste to some extent. No race construction required for me. I miss my old Volkl Spline, Burton M6, etc. Appreciate the time and information as always, Randy Kight

I'm looking for recommendations for a board similar to this guy, if anyone is familiar. I'm about 225 and run 45/35 on a 27.0 shell. Want something fun, easy to carve and CAMBER. Tried rocker/modified rocker and couldn't wait to get back on my old Spline. I think what I might be after is an all mountain friendly carver. I like pop and quick carved turns and a few long radius turns every now and then. Love to hear opinions/thoughts.

Dammit Ian, this is horrible to hear pal. And to think of that truckload I cash I recently spent on a custom Kessler and how she'll standup to my not so light frame gives me great peace of mind!

Have not purchased anything...yet...but I spent about an hour on the phone with Billy a little while back and that was one of the best conversations I've ever had about carving and related gear.
