My wife and I will be riding at Rountop first thing tomorrow morning. Saturday 2/19/11. Anyone else going to be there?

A guy told me this morning- " Those trenches you leave behind are pretty dangerous to ski through." I think he may have been joking, but not real sure.

I think on the next board I should have Sean print DONEK across the entire base so you can see it better.

USASA Wintergreen results: I placed first in both events Sunday and am now qualified for Nationals in April! I can't wait to get out there. I will most likely have a few free days the week of nationals because practice is Saturday and I won't race till Thursday. If some of you are close to Copper we will have to try to hook up and do some riding.

Thanks for the good luck, nobody really had a problem with the restart. Yes to this at the regional level but 1st place in open class at nationals pays $3,000 this year. I think the bigger races have dropdown gates so that does not happen.

Plus I have ridden with those angles for many years, I guess I am just comfortable and when I went from an 18cm board to 20 I did not change them. I used to ride at the reference points on my Burton which was 17.5" I think, but recently widened my stance to about 20" and I like it very much. I seem to adjust to different stances and boards easily, so I never really change it up to much. I just raced my first two USASA BX races of the season Sunday.(They ran two back to back on the same day.) I took first in both in the Men's Open Snowboarder Class My new Donek Saber worked great!!! Thanks to Sean for building such a great board tailored just for me. 169cm. 10m-13m VSR 20cm. Waist The first pic is when my board got stuck under the cross bar of the gate. There was obviously a restart.

Also the tounges look discolored/yellowed is this just the pic or a commom thing with deeluxe? Just wondering Thanks Jason

We went to liberty today, lifts open at 7 30 for season pass, snow was good but got crowded by ten. Yesterday Whitetail got really crowded by 9 30.

Today was my wifes first day on hardboots and she really liked it. She was riding blues and blacks within 3 runs. This is her fifth year riding soft boots and she took to the transition very well.

Any confirmation of Donek Plate demos?

Brian, I just got a Donek Saber, you are welcome to try it out but it may be to narrow for softboots. 20cm waist. Jason

My brother got hit hard last night. He said he was at the bottom of a run near the lift and a straight liner took him out at full speed. The guy got up without a word and got in the lift line.

Sacrifice a pair of old soft boots to make a pair of covers for your hardboots (Like Ice skate covers). Fasten some highbacks and two straps on them just for looks, and they will never know the difference. Problem Solved!

Will this fit a four hole pattern or just the burton 3 hole? I just got a new Donek and trying to make it work. Thanks, Jason
