Here is a link for the missing e pads:
https://www.bomberonline.com/Sidewinder-E-Pads-Set-of-4_p_39.html
If you have a vice, put one side in. Then gently squeeze that side within the vice and put the other pad in.
I found that when I used yellow e pads that they would shrink a little in cold weather and I could feel it when riding. Taking them out was easier than the black ones. I wonder, assuming you had yellow, if they fell out.

Get in touch if you'd like a free consult. Might be fixable via phone.
Thank you. I appreciate the offer. I’ll reach out if I don’t notice a difference this weekend.

I had the all mountain soft UPZs and it would be comfortable most of the time. I really noticed it when I switched to the RC12

I love everything about the moon carve. The sound, the feeling of speed even in slow motion. Magical.

You need the full day spa treatment with The Doctor, @Beckmann AG at Sugarloaf, Maine. Custom footbed maker, boot fitter, binding/stance/attitude adjuster, carving instructor.
I think you’re right! My sister is in New Brunswick. Might need to visit her and take a drive south sometime.

Thanks Barry. I have some plywood and a piano hinge not doing anything so I’ll put it to use
@rstI purchased custom insoles years ago and they did help a lot. They solved the arch pain completely.
I think at this point it’s mostly user error. I’ve bought far too much equipment to keep blaming it lol- 1

@SunSurferThank you. That video is a great resource. I have adjusted the rear cant 2 degrees inward and it does hurt less on carpet. Will see how it is on snow on Friday. Once we get past Christmas I’ll get my wife to help me determine if the boot cuff needs adjustment.
@barryjthank you for the suggestion. I’ll make a slant board and focus on stretching this season.

@SunSurferI haven’t adjusted the boot cuffs at all as my legs are straight when walking. I am going to try the Cant suggestion. Thank you.

I’ve been struggling with an issue for years that I have not been able to resolve with foot pain. I have tried different boots, liners and footbed’s and dialled in my bindings to a point where I feel that everything is perfect except for that small amount of pain on my rear foot at the lateral planter fascia. Punching out the boots helped as did changing the liner. I don’t want to punch the boots more in case they get sloppy as I do sometimes feel some heel lift.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and resolved it? Is this a case of needing to continue to adjust canting and angles? Or should I punch that spot again? I can walk in them comfortably before riding. After a run the pain takes over.Bomber sidewinders

I’ll be moving on Jan 15th so if anyone wants to meet up at Mt Antoine, drop me a line.

I like how easy it is to put them on now that the tongue can swing out of the way

I’m considering moving to the North Bay Area next year 2022. Has anyone ridden at Laurentian, Mount Antoine or Temiskiming Shores? What’s it like?
Any recommendations or advice? Are there any groups or sessions? I saw some older sessions in Quebec and Southern Ontario in older posts.

Adding to the above, in case you don’t know how to measure for the boots as they do not fit like street shoes. You will need a helper and a metric ruler. Place the paper flush against a wall. Strand up straight with your heel pressed against the wall and have your helper mark the end of your big toe on the paper. Then measure the length in cm. That is your mondo size.
Not only will your feet slop around in boots that are too large, there is a chance of breaking a bone inside the boot if you fall.
-
Do yourself a favour and get boots that properly fit you first and go from there.

My hill limited the number of passes sold and you have to book ahead of you aren’t a pass holder. I can park really close to the lift and ate lunch at the car. The only downside is I had to commit to purchasing the pass back in March/ April

I use Malamutes as well.

Boy, we high-jacked this thread. But at least, we used to drive fast over there
Lol My high school was at the top of Fishers hill. I once went over the handlebars on the Primrose side and saw a car screeching to a halt through my legs. I literally kissed my ass goodbye that day
sorry for the threadjack. On with the show!
