  1. Being brand new myself I found the biggest obstacle was the wife not understanding why I needed to buy and look at boards and boots all the time. I have been able to sell the items that didn't work for me for what I paid and it has been worth it so far. Just start with cheap stuff until you have an idea of what you like and read everything. Kinda like dating all over again

  2. Just got the board this summer and managed to twist the head off a binding screw. Guess I should be glad it was just one as it felt like the previous owner super glued them in :freak3:. Drilling and using a screw removal bit has not worked and I am now dancing for the snowboard gods.

Rode the bindings once 3 months after breaking my leg and was in so much pain I didn't notice if they were stiff or not lol. I am selling because my wife is having a momentary lapse of reason and allowing me to buy TD3s.:1luvu:

  3. The UPZ boots are on sale and my banker, aka the wife, has given her blessing to buy a pair rather than new liners. I heard somewhere about the DIN soles ripping out of the toe on these boots. Otherwise they seem to be really cool. Does anyone have any feedback on these? Since I don't ski I don't know if this is a non issue anyway.

  4. Yes that's the one. I love Hemlock, it's quiet and only 30 minutes from home. Unfortunately I did not get to ride very much this season due to a broken leg, but I did get a couple days in near the end of the season. I have been looking for that elusive board that is affordable enough to get past the wife but not complete crap, and oh yes, can it do everything? Ha ha

Thanks for the answers and welcome guys.
