  1. I'm seriously thinking about it. what size boot do you have and size of bindings?
  2. I was mostly curious about the difference between TD's verses F2's
  3. 185 lbs. 9.5 or 27.5 mondo Thank you for your input. I hate to beat a dead horse
  4. I have the Race Titanium intec. Never tried Bomber's. Any opinions on the TD3 Sidewinders verses standard? Does Upz boots work with Bombers?
  5. What's your favorite free carving bindings?
  6. They retail for 179.00. I picked them up for 154.00 on sale from Toolnut. They work great! heated at the finger tips, thumb and backside of hand. I'm a makita man myself so I have their heated jacket. But I couldn't pass up the gloves on those bitter days riding.
  7. I just bought the Milwaukee heated gloves.
  8. maybe not but never say never. https://weatherstreet.com/weather-forecast/montana-snow-cover.htm nice to see. thanks
  9. I do. Went kwickers last year and absolutely love them. Still has plenty of flex in powder but also supportive when carving. No play in boot to binding connection. No more strap fatigue. I would expect boots would wear out like anything else eventually. I make a habit of cleaning boot out on the chair. I had to file rough casting edges on boot to get a consistent step and lock in. Even a hair of filing on binding back hook. It takes some practice but you can step in as you ride off the lift. Pisses off the skiers thinking they can get past me on powder days. Boots have the BOA lace system which rocks! Make the investment you wont be sorry
  10. This weekend for sure 36-50" at Turner this weekend. Would be nice if they opened early
  11. Forecasting a foot on peaks.
  12. I like the vibration absorption. Less rider fatigue
  13. Snowing in Montana right now. Up to a foot forecast.
  14. I've never broken a bone and don't plan on it either. Knock on wood
  15. Daveo, what kind of warranty came with donek plate? Did they refund you?
  16. How does the FG plate differ from apex X plate? I'm most interested in a plate to absorb the choppy groomers.
  17. I always rode steep angles. And with either 3 strap bindings or K2 clickers which is essentially a hard boot. There pretty stiff and I just love them. I can carve decent with them right now. My riding style has always been top to bottom as fast as I could through all conditions including deep powder. That being said I think my transition should go fairly quick. Now I would like to lay it down!
  18. Yeah the price is up there for sure. It might prevent me from taking the plunge on that for now. Besides like you said I was thinking I would try it without so I could have a baseline for comparison. Definitely do.
