Ive not heard of the amplid since its a smaller brand but the others are pretty good choices but tend to fall a little bit more into the surf style of carve where you pitch the board on edge and just enjoy the ride. I will say the yes optimistic is a great carving board for anyone looking for a carving board thats good in powder. I rode a friends and it rode very similar to the sg soul i had at the time just a bit smaller.

Thanks for the video it confirms my thoughts I was in to low a gear through a few of the corners
. Did a quick few laps before I left the house and I managed to get down to 1.41.3 so not to far from my previous laps in the 2020 gt3r. I'm genuinely really surprised how easy the Porsche cup is to drive even with zero traction control

Ignore me im an idiot i didnt realise the porsche cup car was different from the gt3
. On the brightside the shift lights are much easier to see if you jump into the 2020 gt3r youll instantly see what i was moaning about. Now to see what kind of time i can set with the correct car lol.

If its any consulation it took me 10 laps to get to a 1.40.8 finding another 2s to match your pace is going to take quite a bit.
Out of curiosity what porsche GT3 is it 2020 or 2019? I took the 2020 for a spin its super docile compared to the macca but my god are the shift lights bloody terrible in how there partially hidden by the angle of the camera

I only just noticed it was 171 long, that things going to be a blast to ride.
Is there a reason you choose the XV bindings over the new more carving focused CV binding with its higher heel loop? -
I work with a electrical safety testing machine that will produce up 3000V AC when testing insulation the number one rule is always assume it is LIVE to the extent even if i know something is off i'm still wearing doubled up nitrile gloves and if something is live its rubber insulation gloves on top of that again. A healthy dose of respect and paranoia is recommended if you want to stay shock free working with high voltages

Some parts might be interchangeable with some modification but a lot of it is going to need a very very competent electrical engineer to get parts to integrate.
The company i work for deals a lot with the final teardown of EV batteries, the individual battery modules and cells are simple enough the problem will be dealing with there related control units and there required input and out signals they will require.-

the motors reasonable but its only a very small part of the required package as youll probably be looking at another 10000 for the battery and probably another 5000 minimum for control systems/ cooling ect to make it all work

@Corey @scottishsurfer you guys used MoTeC before? In game or in real irl life?
Getting there Daveo my lungs up and fully sealed but i'm stuck in hospital for a little bit more until an infection i've got is clear so ill either get out at the weekend or monday/tuesday.
last time I used telementry i think was in grand prix 4 and way way back in day grand prix 2 on my old 486 lol. I had to search to see if gp2 had telementry or if i was confusing it with indycar which i played a lot at the same time but i found the manual which confirmed my memories. The pivot reminds me alot of something i do in soft boots where i un weight my back foot and pivot on the front foot during the edge change to remove part of the top half of the carve where some of the acceleration will be happening. I initially learnt it as a way to shorten a turn so i could make a gate riding slalom i otherwise would miss from going to fast
I do it in this video riding the red in bansko if you drop the speed to 0.25% youll see pick the rear up pivot the re-engage -
think im safety rating 42 with it going up pretty much every time i race

The lung i had issues with a month and a bit ago partially collapsed again. On the brightside half of it has already permantly bonded to my chest wall so it cant collapse which was what they were hoping to achieve in the operation they couldn't complete the last time i was in. So this time they are just going to bond the lower half which can be done through my chest drain with a local anaesthetic.
So more assetto corsa when im home lol -
Just a bit which isn't by lack of feeling lead feet lol.
Sadly though I was hoping I'd maybe be asking you to spin the server up this weekend but I'm back in hospital again

Not really i quite enjoy hungary and paul richard but theres actually a fair few ive yet to drive at all. The campaign isnt amazing its kind of an introductry to game taking you through a bit of testing then your first race weekend then it as it goes on it adds a little more complexity such as longer races, tyre and fuel changes. Last night for example was the first time i did a 2hour race at paul richard that finished at night which was interesting leaving the pits with cold tyres on a cold track

I went with the 650s as it was my go to car in GT Sport so i had a reasonable idea of the handling, currently i'm about 85% way through the campaign with it. Ive done a couple of laps of in 720 and i think your right it defintely feels easier to drive fast dare i say a little more docile. I'll probably put more time into the 720 and and other cars once ive completed the campaign

Sorry about the delayed reply @daveo I didnt have a particularly great week last week for personal reasons so i didnt get much time to pound out the laps. Ive Tried a bunch of supposdly fast setups for the 650's but nothings really clicked ive generally found them to unstable on brakes and liable to snap oversteer. Instead ive kind of settled on much more docile slightly understeering setup by default that i can manipulate by running 1-2ABS 2TC to oversteer if and when i want it. Probably the biggest thing i did find that helped a massive amount was reducing the wheel rotation to 480 degrees to match that of the car, i found this gave a huge amount of extra control especially when it came to driving the car on the limit. Im now probably faster with the wheel than i was with the pad by about .5s around most circuits

beg to differ there. tried hardboots once on a 26.5 waist saber riding 45/35. it was slow edge to edge and less balance control due the lack of lateral movement, fore/aft movement and less natural balance of weight when transitioning between turns, control in the turns, etc. besides that, it is fine. i'm not sure the equipment is designed to work like that or the body, but to each their own.

it actually works fine in hard boots at low angles i did it out of curiosity. As for softboots I'm a fan of the stiffer boot the better.

Thats a really good lap daveo its going to take a good effort from me to get close to that.
I work for a recycling company and i refurbish and repair the tech that comes in for resale. The apple monitor was one of about 5 that came in from a design studio with faulty internal power supplies and failed backlights. Managed to get them working with some solder iron magic and got to keep one for myself
