Wow, Blue Skies for their last day... Going to miss Rob and the Girls, Kiara and Lexi, they had 26 days this year, ripping the tree trails, the Pow Learning to Carve their turns and Smiling and Laughing the whole time...
-
Glad you found it Ink What a difference a day makes...30 to 40 knot winds today, Gondo closed, Tiehack closed WesB was OK for an hour, hiding in the trees, literally Blown Away after that...

Is this happening more with a toe side or heel side turns? Is there a reason to not try moving your set up back one inch? -

54 days in...out today, sore back sore leg from Snowmass All the Best to Lance Katy and All for a great Carvathon...
-
Well...that's what I get for following my Advice Went out to Snowmass, 3 rd Run Coney glade, 2 speed skiers use me as a slalom pole, running into each other in front of me, I managed to avoid the carnage... Then fled to Elk Camp where I was taken out half way down, on the downside of a big knoll, teenager blind jumps hits and runs into the back of my legs...yea, am OK...but found the nearest bus home... Nothing beats the Milk period !!

Board shape: Is it worth going as narrow as you can?
softbootsurfer replied to Eastsiiiide's topic in Carving Central
Personally? Skiing Deep Bottomless Pow on Skis allows Penetration...Wide Shovel Sticks do not...Floating on the surface is great, but Penetration and mandatory Scarf action for Air, are the Runs that are burned in my Memory....I have always felt that when I put my Bindings at 45 45, with my Toe and Heels ending up exactly even, with the edges...that that was the way to Go, having seen Ace ripping runs apart, I believe width is a personal choice, Technique solves many issues -
50 is nifty It was Sublime today... a clearing sky of pure blue, with Pow No one around run after run today...3 hours was plenty
-
Always look forward, to seeing some good Carving Milk was deserted today, Monday after the X JB of course 2" on Groom Wonder what they said?
