Ditto!   You gotta go for it! ........and a slope that just a little steeper than  easy terrain for ya (Gravity) Helps!

The 1st couple of times don't even try to turn, just ride it out with more of your body in contact with the snow to get prepared for the feeling of dragging body parts on the slope.....then try on next turn to push back off the slope before you come to a complete stop.....  you will figure out the sequence in relation to the slope pretty quick.

    Go for It Scully!

Not interested in EC, just aggressive Bomber/MCC style.
I hope you’re healing up well, barryj.

  2. Thanks very much. Hope you’re luvin’ the SC as much as I luv my XCs and SF. I’m on a whole new planet now because of Sean’s vid.
If I had discovered the concept in this vid five years ago I would not have shuffled my quiver so frequently. I may have stuck to one of my Burton Factory Primes (probably not) but just sayin’.
Hope you’re at MCC with the boyz!

  3. I watched and digested this vid before turning my light off last night and today was far and away my best day in five years of banging my head against a wall.
Why it took me soooooo long to figure this out I can’t explain but am like a kid with a new toy…so excited. Mere words cannot express how happy I am about this!
    THANK YOU SEAN AND LEXI!

  4. Two of the rubber pads that prevent the T-nuts from digging into the top sheet are missing. Please get a pair to me as one binding is useless without them.
If you don’t have them and can’t get them I’d like to send the bindings back for a refund.
F-2 dampening sets are available from yyzcanuck. Please have them send me a set if you can’t send me the originals.
    Thanks, Bob

Got a few things last year, which will be put to use in the coming months. Couple of not new things in there, too.

All mountain stuff: board, carbon things to put bindings on, softer boots with softer top strap and a few different springs.

Carvey stuff: an all round size board, a bigger board, a plate, stiffer boots.

Other stuff: heated boot bag, new knees, couple of bindings. Zip fits will get rotated between boots.

Got an sg sleeve for moving between mountains, hope it doesn't delam. New helmet, too, because I wanted to match @slapos

That Goofy Moose should end one day on some MCC tee shirts front logo....

Like it !....simple and funny 🤙

Reminds me of our Jackson Hole trip two years ago when a mother moose and her baby were litterly window shopping in Teton Village and the next day they were chasing people around who were in line for the Tram. Knowledgeable people say they are less afraid of people than they are if wolves.

Usually 7 days a week,  just the first 3 hours...today however was special, Bluebird and they did a very nice job on Upper and Lower Savio, a run down the front, top to bottom, that I have more time on than any other, even WesB 😀

the serenity and solace of WesB in general however, I find hard to beat... 🙃

2 all time favorite turns, on Lower Savio today ...

  8. I’d say most of us have either ridden with barryj, traded gear with him, taken good advice from him or just, in general, look upon him as a serious and conscientious carver and a friend in the trenches. To hear that he got t-boned through no fault of his own really sucks for him AND it scares the crap out of me.
Keep us updated on your recovery.

Once again thanks for all of the replies.

I’m going to order toe clips from yyzcanuck, install them on the front of my F2 Titanflex stepins and move the front bails to the rear position. I am doing this conversion so, with UPZs front and rear DIN toe and heel pieces I can use my RC8s for boarding and skiing and won’t have to lug two pairs of boots when going to Jackson Hole with grandkids.
Andrea at yyzcanuck says it won’t work. I have inspected things pretty carefully and I hope to prove her wrong.

I installed F2 front clip toe bails and moved the front Titanflex bails to the rear position and I can’t see any problems…everything fit with no issues.
