I'm looking for the upper boot clasp ( the longer one) and hardware. Contacted UPZ couple days ago and am waiting for an answer. If you have one or two you want to part with I'll probably take em for spares.

Dont spose you have any buckle clasps and hardware do you? I need a clasp and screw. RTR or RSV, dont care which.

looking for a new pair of bibs/pants that have a 1/2bib in back to keep the snow out. I have a habit of losing heelside and am sick of the crude up my back. I want tuff stuff with covered full side zips, goretex a must ,reenforced where it counts, powder cuffs, decent pockets. Hard to tell what your getting online and dont mention arc'teryx..im not paying for a logo. any suggestions would be great.

So what is your opinion of the retrofit? I read lots of the posts discussing possibilities and limitations with some concerns over height. I cant see where a couple mm's is going to radically change things unless one is super picky.

So tell me why the Sidewinder isnt offered in a stepin version. I'm a greenhorn and the the Sidewinder has some appeal to me but i want a stepin TD.

Some thoughts on the slime that builds up on your base in the spring. We dont have a pollution problem on the south shore of Lake Superior in the U.P. or God's Country if you really want to know, but a good portion of the hill snow is man made. The gun water comes from a river rather than a well. The water is unfiltered at the micro level and full of microscopic organic critters. Imagine spraying all these critters all over the mtn. from November thru January 24 hrs a day. Come spring time, the snow melts and the dead critters concentrate to the top and stick to your wax. Throw in the occasional blown groomer hydraulic hose fluid that gets power tilled in and wahlah! In my youth I used to make snow here and if the river was roiled up because of a heavy snowfall the gun snow would have a little tint to it from the river being high and fast... more crud in the snow. Let the man made crap dry out before grooming it and spread the yellow snow around. Addtionaly, some of the snowmaking science says that having micro-organisms in the water allows for making snow at higher temps.. freezes quicker... so some resorts with well water actually inject bio stuff into their gun water.... creepy Soylent Green science! Come spring... keep a scraper in your pocket and clean off the board every couple runs.

I would like to take the td3's and the heel kits if you will sell the heels seperately from the boots. Does anyone know if the heel kit from these boots will fit up to a pair of UPZ RSV's. If so, $375 for all or $275 for TD3's only. I'll look into the compatibility myself as well.

I think you need to part with the AM172 with or with out TDs. In fact Im sure of it. I know just the guy!
