  1. Sorry Robert. Your reply must have gone into Junkmail since I didn't see it. No worries. Thanks anyway.
  2. Still interested. What is the weight range for this board? Riding characteristics? Stiff or Damp? Thx

  4. When other riders let me know what I need to focus on next, Steve P, Cuban, Dredman, West Carven, Jonasmo, Two Ravens, Kram. Just this week, Dane ( the lurker ) observed that my rear knee was leaning out and he encouraged me to get it in. In just 2 days since Ive focused on that, all of my turns have tightened up, my transitions are faster, my carves in more control, confidence higher. Each time I improve something, angulation, turn into the carve, lower center of gravity, weight placement, focus, the riding improves. I try hard, every day, and getting feedback is critical. I admire the riders who are relaxed, calm and confident.
  5. Whenever it is not a powder day here at Big Mountain, the snow reporter calls it a carving day on the groomers. So if we are not actually sanctioned we are definitely encouraged, whether on one edge or two. Ive never heard a complaint about trenches, but I can tell you that my biggest worry is skiiers bombing down a run and hitting us. One of our guys was hit twice this week and he rides the tightest line of any of us. FYI, Angry Rick, shaken, but on the mountain ready to complain about skiiers anytime.
  6. Turns out that those inserts use 1/4 20 standard thread screws. So a trip to the hardware store some grinding and filing and I got the board on the mountain today. Very nice. Once I get my setup dialed in .....
  7. Hi, the Prior arrived last night, looks great, however the insert holes are larger than the screws that came with my TD3's. Wasn't expecting that. Do you happen to know what the right screws are and where I can get them? thx
  8. Managed to get photographed by the Big Mountain Photographer yesterday afternoon.
  9. Marquees run on the client and don't take up any more bandwidth than the number of characters in the code. Now whether or not users will like seeing the scrolling text all the time is another question. Reminds me of all the blinking that used to go on back in the early days of the internet.
  10. Thanks John for another great video. I really liked Dredman's air guitar to zep, and well all of it. Really great riding and videography and editing. Can't wait to do it again next year.
  11. A bit wider view reveals the artistry of a group. Oh and I forgot to mention that there was also a speed complaint, which had to be completely made up.
  12. Friday's conditions were absolutely stellar and the crew quickly got to work carving. Apparently somebody didn't like it and so the Ski Patrol got some complaints. 1. Dave(Dredman) and Kelly (Two Ravens) at "work" laying it down on Chief Joseph. 2. Ski Patrol issuing warning to Dave in yet another stunning onepiece, who adamantly defends trench making in all it's forms. 3. Sample of objectionable trenches.
  13. Thanks to all who came, rode, skimmed, swam, hopped, collided, tapped and carved huge trenches all over the mountain. Really enjoyed meeting and getting to ride with everyone. Can't wait for all the fun yet to come visiting your home slopes. Hope you come back next year.
  14. Since Wes was not on the mountain today, I thought I would fill in. Spent the day on Chair 2 from 9:30 till about 2:00pm. From early on the snow was really nice and there was no problem carving deep trenches from top to bottom. Add to that the minimal numbers or skiers or other traffic and it was a most stellar day. It warmed up and the sun came out around 11 but that only made it better. Rick joined me for a slew of runs and we were both carving it up in the sun. Had to resort to some race wax as we were getting seriously slowed down by the warm slush, but that was good for me as I was finally able to get some traction on my heelside turns which was a huge relief. Conditions kept holding up and I only stopped cause my muscles were totally worn out. Rick took off to the top, but didn't hear from him how the conditions were. Rode my new to me Nidecker Tornado 173 all day. Very happy with it. One of the lifties is going to start carving next week, hope the snow holds up for him. Going up again early tomorrow, as I think it is going to be another awesome day.
  15. You should have it on Wed
  16. Thanks, Ill pack it up and send it off tomorrow morning.
  17. ~~SOLD~~ Have a Prior 4WD 174 for sale. Specs here: http://www.priorsnowboards.com/boards_4wd.php#specs I rode this board about 20 hours this season, I weigh about 170 lbs. Can't attest to the history before me. Don't know what year made but probably less than 5 yrs old. The top sheet has a few scratches and nicks, none bigger than the one shown in the photo. All are on the edge, probably from lift line collisions and the like. The base is super clean, one tiny scratch, and the edges are really fine. $250 shipped to US only. Paypal preferred. PM me or david at eldenworks dot com
  18. Yes on the step-ins, The heels are removable, but there is no hole for the cable so you would have to drill a hole for that.
  19. Good call, I didn't look there before. The liner says x 27.0 0875 09 02 , photo included. Also one of the full liner.
  20. ~~ SOLD ~~ Ive got a pair of Raichle 124 Boots for sale. I bought them here on BOL as 27's thinking I was a 27, turns out a 26 fit me better. The tongue says 25 - 27.5 as you can see from the attached photo. I didn't use them so would like to just pass them on to somebody who can. Look to be in good condition, there is probably still some life in the liners. $85 shipped, US only please. PayPal Preferred. PM me or david at eldenworks dot com
