    On the hill I always have a dime (coin).For micro adjusts.Those springs do work,and you should feel the difference with a1/4 turn,I do.

    I think I'll go with the disks also.And go for the longer mounting screws.There is always time for safety.Plus I use 1/2inch plates(home made).3 sheets polypro1/8' ,2 sheets of rubber and metal on top.Will have pics of these,if they work as well as hoped.If not back to the drawing board:biggthump

    Just a little miss wording on my part.Would the TD-3 E-rings increase the lift,if so how much? Thanks.

    Can aT-D3 ring be used with a T-D2 base,web site sez TD-3 ONLY.But bases look identical?

    I've broke several heel bails on td 1s @td 2s.As your boot moves in the binding,you create friction.Sand from the parking lot in the heel lip,after time it makes a stress riser.Inspect your bindings often.I went FIN-TEC have had no probs.But I will replace my toe bails,as they have two seasons on them.Nothing is ment to last forever,Fin is getting real close though.Bring on that td race I got money to spend.:D

    I have the RTR with stock liners,custom foot beads.I love them.I say go with what fits your foot.Is it time to ride yet?

    I weighed my boots in at 13+pounds.Just thought it may be a factor.UPZ Boots are much more heavy than the rest.Oh well just charge harder.I just need to learn to carve upside down I'll have my own roller coaster:biggthump

    Shoud I add riding gear,boots,bindings.For a weight range board?Boots 13lbs and TD- 2S.With gear on makes my rider weight about 170 lbs.

    not every one has a grand to thow down on a board.Hell I gotta pay for my pass.I will ride my less than cutting tech board cuz I like to ride .I'm saving money for a metal Prior .Till then I ride what have.

    I'm sure a few others had these.The bails broke if ya looked at them wrong.Then came Bomber,got some of first ones.Saw them in International Snowboard,ya the one that used newspaper for pages.I miss that mag.:(

    I did not realize that I could damage my boots unlocking them,and riding them.I'll look into backing off the springs.I don't want to give bad advise.The point I'm trying to get across,these are a very stiff boot for someone getting started.Thanks for your advise,it shows we can all learn somthing here.

    the UPZ is avery stiff boot,start with the soft tounges.Plus they are very ajustable with the rear springs. I will ride mine open,lever down when riding the bumps.Hope this helps a little.Run these boots stiff,ya need to be on your game.

    Mine do fit,better than a glove.Each to there own.Ride what fits,feel those G's enjoy the ride.I just gotta find a way to carve upside down then I have made my own roller coaster.

    I I have the black RTR,I still reccomend to to t-nut the toes.They are a very strong boot,but better safe than sorry.UPZ boots make others feel like your still riding in Sorels.
