  1. And just to point out, not everyone has trouble getting out of RC10's...I've seen Corey trying to get out of his. Must be this high arch thing. I have no issues warm or kinda of cold. Never tried to put them on when they are at true ambient winter temp. Trying to get into my Lange ski boots, now that's an exercise in pain. Need to add a joint halfway up my foot to get them in there.
  2. I tried 1 degree base and 3 degree side on my coiler monster. Much easier to skid turn (which is not that important for this board) and better edge hold than 90 deg. However I find it twitchy on fast edge to edge transmittions and when transitioning between edges. I'll try either flat base and 2 deg side, or .5 on the base 3 deg side next time. Aiming for sharp. A little grabby is ok for this board.
  3. Cool! Another thing to try that will end in failure....
  4. Imovie has a built in stabilization function when you import. In addition to that, you can run stabilization on it. Then to top it off the biggest improvement was youtube! It had a message that said the video uploaded has shaky sections or some thing like that, do you want youtube to stabilize? Why yes, yes I do......
  5. Here is some video and a little picture thing at the end. Just learning how Imovie works and playing. Mostly sucky. The last video clips are ok. Starting to learn what to do with the gopro. More video for a start.
  6. I'll take that as a compliment! That turn brought to you by Corey, Steve and Darcy. I have a little bit of decent video from Sunday morning of Steve, Darcy and Corey and one other I'll upload to youtube. Hopefully tonight. Still learning what to do with that gopro. Mostly I have a lot of video that will make you queasy with motion.
  7. Thanks Corey for putting on the clinics. Learned lots. Now I just need to put in more time practicing. You would have been proud of my last run on red crow seeing all of your lessons completely forgotten! Next lesson, what to do when it gets a lot firmer, your goggles ice up and your legs are toast!
  8. Good to hear. We can swap excuses in the lounge while taking an extended break.
  9. My burton Wind boots are intech compatible.
  10. Yes. If he wants to pick them up earlier and get it all set up that's no problem as well. I'll change the heals on them to regular standard non-weird burton physics.
  11. Yes my burtons are labelled as 28. I think they are a little more like 27.5 but probably depends on your foot shape. I can bring them.
  12. I'm coming from Marda Loop area in Calgary. Have one seat available at least for Friday and Saturday. Blair
  13. Found another lost hard booter this weekend at Norquay. Hopefully we'll see a guy named Warren show up. In for a shirt too.
  14. I'll be there all 3 days this year. I'm up for the clinic as well.
  15. Need to sell to raise funds. Going to have to use my Burtons for another year. Just bought this year. Used one early season day for 3 hours. Fintech heals not included, will put stock heals back on. $400 obo
  16. Ooo yes please, come to NES and take a long lunch break ;)
  17. No thanks. I'll spend all day and $100 in gas for a $75 board.
  18. Actually I don't know. I would assume early 2000's as it's cap construction. Kalispell is a 6 hour drive from Calgary ;)
  19. Skier - Soft booter - torn up ankle forced into hardboots. Still have my original raichle hardboots that have the full vibram sole. Was considering reviving these since they were so great for hiking and freeride.
  20. Would prefer a local buyer for this first but I could ship it. This would be good for a light rider or beginner. Will throw in the 3 hole discs and a 3 hole 6 degree cant plate. Bindings gone. This was a factory second board. Second marked on the nose of the board base. Base is excellent, top has a couple of knocks on the cap edges. Board is an all mountain flex pattern. If it was wider it would be my AM board. $75
  21. Ill be heading out on Friday to Nakiska if anyone is up for a ride.
  22. Its going to be a funny first run this year. New (to me) board that isn't going to turn until your doing 30k/hr, new bindings with different toe heel lift than I'm used to and new UPZ RC10's. Helmet still the same.....
  23. Great condition, not used much over the years. Toe and heal both have two positions depending on if you are using regular bindings or intech heals. One toe is shown in the normal forward position when not using specific burton physics race bindings. Other than one liner has a tear where the upper cuff pushed into it, no issues. Liners state size 280 which is wildly optimistic. Thats shell size. These are 26.5 mondo. I'm 42-43 Euro and my ski boots are 26.5. Just measured my feet for new boots and ordered 26.5 $150 firm Located in Calgary Alberta.
  24. Will try and dig it all up tonight. Be something like $75 per binding set, another $100 for 4 heal pieces and various spares. If your boots can't take the front toe hook, your out of luck. Mine are like these but different color
  25. Burton Physics? I have a bunch of stuff I will be selling this season. Two sets of bindings, one almost new, brand new spare heals etc.
