  1. Thanks Beckmann.

I think your right about the small skis. If they are too stiff at the short length they are not going to work.

I am concerned that beginner skis will hold him back. But it doesn't look like there is much of a choice. I'm going to hit a couple of ski shops today and see what I can find.

  2. This is my sons 4th year skiing and he will be racing. Looking at skis it seems that there are no real race skis under 130cm. I see cheap 120cm name brand race skis (such as the Volkl Racetiger and Solomon Mini Kart), but on the manufacturers website they don't have anything under 140cm and the price seem too low to be the real thing.

Am I right to assume that all skis under 130cm are basically the same cheapo ski? I'm not at all saying that my son needs race stock, but is there really no other option other than the beginner level ski at 120cm?

  3. Duty into Canada:

    6403.12.10 Downhill ski-boots Free

    6403.12.30 Snowboard boots 18 %

    9506.11.10 Downhill (Ski) Free

    9506.11.90.20 Snowboards 7.5 %

Deeluxe are ski boots, right? Buy your boards in pairs and call them fatties? ;)

  4. How about contacting the Web host service they are using informing them the web site they are hosting is collecting money but not sending goods to customers? At least they might be able to take it off, contact the owner or block the site.

This way people wouldn't get stuck ordering and never getting their goods. Not everyone (I know they should) come on bomber for information and are aware of the problems with Catek.

You could fill out Googles "Web Forgery" report. If it's successfully added to the black list the site would be blocked from both FireFox and Chrome users.

  5. Im looking for size 29 to 30 boots for the next season. I have a size 11 1/2 or 12 in shoe size so i think this is the right size for me. If you guys could let me know if thats the right size and also if you guys have any good deals because im on a pretty tight budget. Thanks

To get your true mondo size you should measure your feet and round down to the nearest cm. Instructions can be found here:

  6. I'm left everything and goofy.

    write left

    kick left

    hockey stick left

    bat left

    club left

    left eye

The only 2 things I can think of that I do right handed are guitar and mouse. I know one lefty that plays left guitar, and a different lefty that actually uses the mouse left. The guitar left I can understand, the mouse left bothers me.

  7. Welcome to every time it snows in Toronto. It can turn my 12 minute commute into 2 hours. I usually leave for work early on snow days, so I can enjoy first tracks through the unplowed snow. :)

I wish they would make snow tires the law in Ontario like they did in Quebec.
