  1. Big Al charging hard: Karvlow...... Waaaaaaay low: Rico Suave` hard at work:
  2. Yes it was the clown van with smoooothdougall and team red. Still have post partum depression, although my legs are happy. So inspiring to see and talk to so many strong riders. Big Air Mac keeping it on the ground: Raven preparing for takeoff: Ace making it look easy:
  3. I agree with Allee you may have the toe bails too low putting undue stain on the toe bails. Pin engagement in the heel looks good, all the way back in the hole makes a good tight fit
  4. I thinks it's time we all realize the black Deeluxe liners SUCK! Just no getting around it. I have 5 year old Suzukas with the grey liners with the white tongue and they have been great although I have to periodicly build up the area just above the instep buckle with hard foam for max. heel hold down without having to overtighten the buckles, which leads to foot cramp that the Op experienced. Rebaking can also help. Also don't be afraid to wear another thin sock it can take up alot of space,
  5. I bought such MLY 167 from D-Sub 3 or 4 years ago. It was my wifes learning board and worked very well. It was 22cm wide and 10.5 R. It also came in handy when my freind from Germany arrived and his board was still in Paris. Now it is living large under a newbs feet. Mine was a Shannon Melhuse sig, purple/with the surfer guy on the tail.
  6. Today I rode forward 1 set of binding holes from centered (10mm). I didn't think it would make much difference but I was surprised how much better it felt, just real solid, no wavering and great quick turn initiation. 177VSR M 21.5 wide.
  7. Looking for boots for 140-150lbs male , size 26, new carver. Experienced boarder-skier what will work? Do you have anything?
  8. I haven't been able to find the specs for the Donek Plate, height, weight, width, ect? Any help would be appreciated.
  9. 177 VSR M 21.5cm wide. Only had it out 2 days so far, but . 3rd coiler, I see a trend here.
  10. I've been testing some rocker modification the last couple of years and since the op has a 4807 I thought I'd show what worked for me. The extra rocker and nose rise make the board turn much easier and quicker at slower speeds. We had the opportunity to ride some pretty heavy snow last week and it worked great. My wife (this is her board) was cruising right through the "tapioca", while I saw many people nose diving, front flipping getting stuck ect. It also effectively stiffens the nose so it goes through the chopped up stuff smoother. It also eliminates the "nose flop" of the 4807, which may be the best part as I found that to be incredibly annoying when I rode one.You can adjust the amount of rocker to suit conditions We've been running quit a bit (more than in the pics) when it's deep and light, less when your riding 10'' or less. So I'd just drill a hole in your 4807 and rope up! I used some windsurfing downhaul stuff for hardware.
  11. Sorry Jim, I was asking the O.P. about his weight, ect.
  12. Are you using hardboots and how much do you weigh?
  13. OVR, I have a catek receiver I don't need. There is wear from the steel Intec pins gauling away at the aluminum. I'm wondering if a guy could weld or use somethig like alumaloy, (looks awesome on tv) to restore the worn area. Looks like about 1-2 mm of rounding out where it's worn. Let me know.
  14. Is this the same board that's in your profile pic?
  15. Let's get er done Divebomber! Will also include fresh tune and wax if you like. Shoot me an email.

  17. Need new home for old freinds I have a Rossi 184 WC and a 167 MLY Shannon Melhuse Signature for sale. Rossi 184 18.5 cm wide 15m radius, bought NOS about 3 years ago. Pampered and a very nice ride. Never ground, about 80% side edge left. 1* base and 2*side bevels. I'm about 205#s and it worked great for me. $225.00+shipping MLY 167 22 cm wide 10.5 radius, no taper, cap construction. This was the board my wife learned to ride hard boots on. She's about 175#s and it worked well for her. In very good shape, usual scratches on top sheet, no damage. $125.00+shipping
  18. What Mondo size are they,25,26?
  19. You should look for a 4807 in a 168. Prone to failure, but at your weight and if you don't ride alot of pow days could last quite a while. You will be asked many questions.
  20. Is your NSR titanal and decambered? Date of production?
