  1. Hey Calle, thanks for the great info. Appreciate your input. Miltie, yes good thinking, I should've said that. I'm almost definitely going to stay in the Nagano area. I was thinking Hakuba, but I've never been, so I'm putting the feelers out for some advice :)
  2. Hi there, thanks for the reply! No, I've never ridden it, but I guess I just want to try one (for no justifiable reason). I'm heading to Japan for a month or so next year, so I want to get a new board. I'm 80-85kg depending on how much I've gotten to the gym. Not very strong (squat 140kg) and 190cm. Actually I've been talking with a nice member here who has a Kessler 185, which was made for him at 72kg, but it was too soft for him. But he's a strong, aggressive racer, and I'm not, so I'm hoping it'll work.
  3. Hey guys, I need a little help with a shipping issue, I hope someone has some info that can help I recently bought a snowboard and need to get it shipped from Colorado to California. I have shipping sorted from California to Australia, but I'm not sure how to get the board from Colorado to California. Does anyone have any good (and cost effective) transportation options from CO to CA. Cheers guys :o
  4. Hey guys, I'm off to Japan in Feb 2015, just wanted to know if anyone has experience carving at any resorts in Japan and if you have do you have any recommendations?
  5. Interested in a Kessler 168. If anyone has one lying around collecting dust, let me know
  6. What ever happened to these boards? Do you still have them?
  7. sounds more like you're saving on tax...
  8. Bomber Bindings are quite expensive and quite stiff. You might want to check out F2 bindings. Bruce sells them at a great price when you buy a board. You might want to consider these bindings when ordering a board from Bruce. The user www.oldsnowboard.com is a forum moderator, so he probably feels obliged to push the Bomber products, so take his words with a grain of salt.
  9. Oh I bought my bindings from them =(
  10. I reckon if you change to bright orange you'll never get hit!
  11. So how did everyone go at the demo tent, this year? How about we all put together an exhaustive list of what we rode and what we thought about them?
  12. You know what maybe what Beard 3000 has drafted up is exactly what the sport needs. Maybe his designs just may entice a younger audience into the sport. Perhaps a large influx is teenagers is just what we need. I have nothing against it. Beard 3000, it might be worth putting some more samples up on alpine boards, though... Might show that you've done just a bit of research into the forum. Maybe...
  13. Oxess sell second hand BX boards with 23cm waists for around 590-790CHF. Can't imagine shipping being much over the border...
  14. Are they RuRoc? Awesome vid by the way, liked your last one also. What Coiler are you riding?
  15. Where'd your get the stormtrooper helmet? Hella jealous!
  16. Thanks for that idea SunSurfer! I'll definitely try Trade me come the appropriate months!
  17. Hi there everyone! I've decided to sell my pride and joy snowboard :( Anyhow this was built for me by Bruce in 2010. I am 189cm/75kg to give an idea of the rider it was built for. It has a custom red and black elliptical topsheet (pics en route). It wasn't used last year because of an injury from sprinting (which also ruined my season and sent me into early retirement). It has a layer of storage was on it. It has been used for around 10 days in the previous season, so 10 days in total. I waxed it basically every night whenever I was up at the snow and is in great condition. I love this board and it has always been taken great care of and maintained well. Cost $1300. $900 for the board and $400 to ship. I hate shipping. Asking AUD600 + shipping. If you have a reasonable offer, I'm open. Buyer to pay PayPal fees if you use PayPal, that is. I live in Melbourne and I'm happy to drive as far as either Mornington (East) or Torquay (West) or Doreen (North) to deliver/meet half way. Dan
