  1. Santa Cruz Alpha BB 162.5 for only $1500, it's cheap because it's used I had this board in mid 90's, lasted me 5-6 days; the base opened up from tip to tail... Still, it has been my favorite asymmetric board. I made my mom drive from Québec city to B-side in Vermont to buy it at the time... I got a replacement from Santa Cruz but it was the next year model with the symmetrical shape and asymmetrical sidecut. I was pretty dissapointed. I'm even more dissapointed now that I see it for sale @ $1500, I could sell it now and by myself a nice Kessler :D Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/220758249919?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Here it is just for fun ;)
  2. In case you are interested, I have the exact same boots mondo 28 liner, shell is 27.5 to 29. They are new old stock that I purchased for replacement parts. I have the Fire model and wanted regular heels which I swapped. So they will come with the Burton intec system, the intec race plate and a cant as a package deal. So they are new with barely used intec heels. The plates are as new as well. I'm going to put them on eBay this Sunday. Let me know if interested before that. I'm located in Canada as well. Cheers.
  3. Too bad I missed the deal because my email from yesterday had been directed to your junk email even via bomber... Thanks anyways.
  4. Hi, I don't know if you got the email I sent to you via bomber yesterday? I'll take the Burton race plate and maybe the unicant. Send me a private message please! Thank you, Jeff
  5. Thank you veru much Kuba, that's a great idea. I never thought of that and I guess I don't have much too lose... Cheers
  6. I would rather trading them but send me a email with an offer and I'll let you know if I'm interested thanks.
  7. Still looking to trade! Physics in close to perfect condition for standard plates. Can put a cant in the trade. I like the yellow translucent one but I'll trade for any race plate. Thanks
  8. Thanks Dan for the picture, the link and the contact! Agassiz contacted me and we'll meet at one point! I think though that the system is different on the ATB, they don't have backward flex, only front according to the website. Anyways thanks man, you really helped me out! By the way is the name Bora from a VW enthusiast? Dave, thank you for letting me know about the fitting issue. I'll be fine for me, I have race plate right now. I'll give a buzz to Dan Yoja at one point for sure. Thank you for the infos you gave me. Cheers guys, Jeff
  9. I just had a look at the UPZ ATB, they look like they would suite my needs as well. If only they were BTS compatible, it would be the perfect match! Sooooo? 325 with BTS or UPZ ATB is my dilemma! I don't think I have ever seen reviews on the ATB, I'll do some searches or start a new post to get reviews.
  10. Thank you for the offer, I don't think I would be interested to swap my Fires for the Reactors though. Too bad yours are not compatible! Would had be the perfect deal. My boot shell's are for 27.5 to 29 and I have heat moldable Intuition liner inside.
  11. That's good to know! I though the 700 was on the stiffer side... After reading all replies, I think now I'm convince to buy some BTS. I guess that is the key for what I'm looking for. Thank you again for everyone who took the time to reply!
  12. Thank you very much guys for all your input/information, I appreciate you took the time. UPZ? Few people mentioned them...I don't know...I don't look for the closest match of the Fire's, they are too stiff for my AM riding, I'll have a look at ATB though. Since Jack confirmed the newer model of the 700T are similar and better, I'm tempted by the 325T for now. When I look at the description of the 225 versus the 325 though, I'm not so convince of the difference between the two? Both since to suit my needs? Thanks, cheers!
  13. Hi, I have a complete set-up of Physics that I would like to trade for Burton Race standard set-up. I can add some goodies and/or cash for a pair of F2 Race Titanium. Nothing's wrong with them, it's just that I mostly Freecarve now and I'm not a heavy rider so I'm looking for more flexibility. The plate had max 4-5 half days on them, they are 9.5/10. -Ideally I WTT the Physics plate for standard Race in the same condition (I like the yellow translucent one or any other models are fine). -I have the complete set-up of Physics heels for the Fire's, a cant and cash that I could trow in a deal but I need the standard heels first so I still can use my boots... What else I'm looking for: -Volkl V-Flex Riser -Standard heels for Fire's Thank you and let me know if interested!
  14. Hi, I have this model of Fire's and they are bolted with the Race Physics heels. I was wondering if someone on the forum had the standard set-up for them? I trew the original box away a decade ago, I'm still mad at myself... Thank you very much!
  15. You bring a good point though, I could buy a BTS kit and adjust in function of my needs. Thanks for your reply. I guess now I need to know more about the plastic flex of the Deeluxe compared to the Fire's. If the Fire's are like the 700, I'll go for 325 but if they are like the 325; 225 would be my choice. My guess is they are closer to the 700 model...
  16. Hi there, I've been riding my entire life with the Burton Fire. I like them for carving on hard pack but for AM carving I find them a bit stiff. I ride ''walk mode'' for AM to compromise but I find the plastic too hard still. What is the equivalent in stiffness to the Fire's, is it the 700T? Thank you for any input! Jeff
  17. I've been looking to find/buy these for years now... Would be a good combination with my Cross :D Let me know if you have some, I'm ready to pay for it. Cheers, Jeff
  18. I know they are rare to find but I'm taking a chance anyways... Please let me know if you have one of them and willing to sell. Thank you very much:biggthump Jeff
  19. Your board is sick!!! Let us know how it rides?
  20. Also interested to know more about it... The X3 looks like the Oxess BX59. I fell in love with the shape of the board, its minimalist and complex in its way of design in the same time. I have the impression that maybe those new shape's design are an evolution from the metal or CF made boards industry. The Schtubby looks too me like an hybrid of the X3 and the AM. It is a very nice board and my resolution of year is to get the found to get one :D But I would also consider an X3 really seriously too if a production is made
  21. Are you testing those new 2010 DC's snowboards?
