  1. @Cooke just make share to understand ‘if you find the right buyer’ and I am just estimating an auction price there too. It wasn’t uncommon for rarer vintage asyms to go for around $250 at auction a few years ago when I was searching them out. This isn’t your run of the mill Burton Alp Woody. This is the first time I have ever seen those Pogo branded SnowPro bindings as well. I don’t claim to be an expert, maybe my estimate is high 🤷‍♂️, but this is a a rare bird in great condition for its age.

  2. That is a rare find, very nice! POGO boards almost never make their way onto the US market. I would estimate the market value on that might be $300-500 if you find the right buyer. Vintage stuff can be tricky to price accordingly. Good luck with the sale!

  3. I personally love how the new lift has the towers relocated on the side of Comp. This will now offer chair riders better views of that slope, which will be prime showboat territory!

If only they increased the speed of the Exhibition Chair. That slope is so fun. I ❤️ that place....

On a side note...I only have a pass for my local mountain, Ski Sundown, this year. I will probably be there 90% of the time with my 2 boys who also have passes for the 1st time ever. Both just have magic carpet and Rope Tow experience, so getting on the lift this year is going change the game for us. With any luck perhaps we will venture up to The BEast for a day.

  4. I say let’s forget all those ‘by the season’ threads and just go here for everything Berkshire East related.

I saw this on Facebook today. They are putting in a high speed QUAD going up the side of Comp. The lift it’s replacing in the background will be relocated for the north side expansion.

  5. Website update!!!

    https://aceskwal.com

It should now be a little easier to use and should be more responsive for different browsers. Best to view on a desktop. Please kindly PM me to report any bugs.

You can also find a form to fill out for a proposed North America Skwal Meet/DEMO. The idea is to plan a date in 2023/24 to gather a larger number of skwal riders together. Hopefully this will become an annual event and aims to connect and grow the skwal community. We hope to hear from you and see you next year!

  6. This is by no means a great setup. I wanted to see if I could cram my sons boots into a TD2 and it ended up just making it. The sole blocks are reversed and there is a lot of wiggle room that would need to be sorted on the toe bail. I have a set of the Elfgen binder that were previously mentioned. They have limited angles and also built in canting. Also not an ideal setup, but it connects you to the board. This is what I learned on back in the day of Hooger Booger rentals with rear entry ski boots.

  7. What a day ripping up Loon. Northstar was in primo shape all day. Took a run over on Ripsaw on the South Peak. That one keeps you on your game for sure, wowza. Helluva place. I’ll have to make it back up there one day for sure!

  8. @skhil thanks for giving it a ride and for the feedback. It is based around the Thias Easy Jungle so it is geared to be an all mountain easy rider. It is a board that I have been riding for the past 4 seasons or so. My last day on snow I was able to ride bigger metal boards and it really made me stop and take a look at my riding and the gear I was on. My riding group likes to mess around in the park and really ride the whole mountain. They don’t want to just hammer the best groom on the mountain repeatedly, so my gear and riding style recently have reflected that. The high speed edge hold of a big carver is addicting and I feel the need to get back to it. I have been planning for the next Ace Skwal model will be a longer board between 185-195cm. Stay tuned!
