  10. I make 4-6 flights a year with my gear. Over last 4 years, had my board bag delayed 3 times on the RETURN flight, always less than 24 hours... I put tons of wax on the base and I don't scrap it, so if there is rubbing going on due to vibration, wax will save your base structure. Boots = Carry-on, you can always try to find a friend for the board or worse buy a new one, you never want to do that with "personal" boots.
  11. Yes, I had more in mind light people ( 130 or less ) who rides only on Sunday mornings. The 162 would be great on crowded hill where shorter radius is recommended. SEB
  12. I have 3 Sigi racing boards from previous seasons for SALE. All boards are freshly tuned and are in racing conditions: Base bevel @ 0,5 ; Side bevel @ 88; deeply waxed with Holmenkol race wax; new structure done no riding since. Actually loaded with storage wax. These board are the "FULL RACE T" construction board used at the World Cup level, Titanal, etc. SG boards were 1st in 2008 and 1st – 2nd in 2009 World Cup Championship. Those are winners ! My 163cm Slalom, built with Vist inserts, Titanal construction. SOLD !! My 185cm GS, built with Vist inserts, Titanal construction. SOLD !! From '08 season: My 178cm "Pro Team /Red Bull limited edition" GS board, Titanal construction, Hangl plate insert, although inserts were never used. Those "RedBull" were limited edition built at 100 copies. There were built for the World Cup racers and Sigi sold some to non-WCup racers. This is a unique / collection item. There are some scuffing marks from my F2 bindings. This board is not just only a racing one, it's also a wonderfull carver. Used 20-25 days 2 years ago, didn't touch the snow last year. a $1600+ value SOLD !! I'm a junior racer, grew up from 135lbs to 145lbs over last 2 years. Those boards were not abused by a heavy rider. I always put a lot of attention in my board, since those are the ones which help me to win. Sorry NO trades, unless it's airplane tickets SEB PS: Sorry, SG boards on the left are my '10 boards, not for sale before April 2010…

He just want to have time for is new child! I had to face this situation too. I was training with David Ruel at Mont St-Anne and he had a child and he decided to quit coaching wich is in my opinion a personal decision that athletes need to respect!
  14. It's a New kind of "hangl plate" that the National team develloped. I've tried it and I didn't like it...but it seem that it's working for Jasey!
  15. Hahaha maybe I should paint glasses over them!!!
  16. Hey Ink, my coach is Patrik Gaudet from Tremblant he is actually the coach of the Quebec team. He is for sure one of the best in the Business!!! He coach many riders that are now on the World Cup like, Caroline Calve, Adam Mcleish and Ariane Lavigne. But when I was younger I was training with David Ruel and Mathieu Chiquet (vice world champion in 2001) but they both stopped coaching. As for me hitting the wood fence Thanks to my back protector!!!
  17. Hey, just a little footage from my 09 training camp in Chile!
  18. I'm sad to announced the death of Karine Ruby 31 years old and the first woman to win a olympic gold medal in our sport. The French lady died from falling in a 20m ''crack'' at tour de ronde of Mont Blanc. Karine is a legend in our sport, she is the woman with the most win on the world cup tour with 66 wins and 122 podiums. R.I.P Karine

A nice PDF for boot sizing. http://www.bomberonline.com/store/boots/Sizing_boots.pdf This should clear which boot size he needs. Agree with Phill, start to look at 154-158cm for a Slalom board and 173-178 for a GS board. That's basically what the girl & light rider used to race Noram level. A compromise, like a 168 will only last part of the season if he start to enjoy it. Look into USASA series for any competitions to enter
  23. SOLD the RSV RED one to JETSKIER SEB
  24. Jetskier : I will go to the post office tomorrow to check shipping cost. Please, Email me via BOL. Alaskalpine: Answer sent back SEB
