  1. I am selling this MINT condition Vokl Renntiger. Great board wicked sidecut, awesome smooth ride. I purchased this last april from this forum and the board is sweet. It came with a different grind pattern on the edges than the rest of the base. So the board is still factory spec. I have ridden it twice now. Once last season in powder and once this year. I have a new baby in the rack (quiver) so this should go. I do not have specs exactly, but somewhere I found them online last year, these should be pretty close. -GraphiteElectra 2000 stone ground split base -2 layers of titanium -triaxial weave in upeer & lower belts -carbon weave -titanal interfacing in upper & lower belts -steeledge with rubber dampeners -length: 178 cm -effective: 159.5 cm -nose length: 140 -tail length: 45 -nose height: 36 -tail height: 5 -setback: 30 -width (n/w/t): 244/190/239 -stance: 42-58 -radius: 12,5 m I am looking for $400 on it. I spent $450 last year on it. I think its a great board but needs a better home.
  2. Mprovenc Cant is yours. $35 plus shipping? USPS shipping should be pretty cheap? Let me know Lamberto
  3. I have an extra set of metal discs available. These are for the burton and ibex type bindings. I have one that is 4x4 and one 3D pattern. With the unicant you can mount the 3d on the rear and the 4x4 on the front. I have this one all my boards. Let me know if you are interested. I also could do the set as both 3D discs. I can send pictures on request of how I mounted them on my boards Lamberto

  13. Topoftheworld Board looks ok, but the tail has signs that the previous owner did not fix that chip soon enough. It looks like the water soaked in and damaged the core and rusted the edge? let me think about it. Thanks for posting.....
  14. Can you send some pictures? I am looking for the right board for me, and of course, the right price. This is a part time board for me so i do not use it all the time. Thanks
  15. Can you send me pictures of the repair on the tail?
  16. Floboot, I too ride with 2-3 steeper degrees on my rear leg with hard boots. I find this is more comfortable with my style. But most do not, most rriders seem to run parallel or slightly less angle on the rear foot. For me, it's what feels right Your call really, but try them all out
  17. Jack, Your experience and insight here is very seasoned and I usually agree with you on most points. However, while learning to EC (which seems like our friends goal) the training video had some great points to be made about how to EC and turn with your shoulders, look up hill, and keep you body more straight. It had a great example of the push pull technique and really helped me to visualize a EC. But all things considered, I would advise to first; listen to all advise and take from others experiences and point of view.. Digest, diagnose and then see what works for you. L-
  18. Looking for a part time soft boot setup. Either a burton coil or ultra prime. Late model preferable Thanks Lamberto
  19. For most of us here, the Toeside carves are the easier ones as they require us to lean in. This lean in then translates into a lean back for heelsides. I find that the more that I turn my angles up (steeper) the easier it is to not sit on the toilet. A lot of talk about driving with the knees, leaning with the front or back leg sounds confusing. The no hands drill is the best way to learn not to bend over to reach the snow. Think about touching your shoulder to the snow. I recently made huge improvements so I can attest to the fact that you really need to feel your way through these exercises. Watch the Russian training video posted on the videos section. This helped me visualize these turns and then I could replicate the turns. Cheers Lamberto
  20. Hello Some my humble advise is as follows. Everyone has their own point of view so here is mine Getting closer to the snow- my best advise is get your back arm to reach forward. Healside reach over your body to the nose. Toeside reach between you and the snow towards the nose. I found this helps me to square off my shoulders and not over commit to turn that I cannot exit from visualising- it's all about feeling it. Once you execute pay attention as you must "use the force" and feel the turn. This will help you commit to a great turn toeside and heelside are kind of unique in the way that you have to think differently about each one. But confidence will help both turns improve binding angles- Are talked about a lot. Not a set rule. You have too go with what feels right. So experiment. Increase and decrease your angles and proportions of front and back. This will have to feel right for you. I ride 70 degrees and most guys would think that's nuts. On my wider soft board I run about 50 to avoid binding drag The best advise I can give is this. The board has a turn sidecut radius. Get some medium speed and then lean into the turn and let the geometry work for you. I used to pull my boards into turns and spent many years washing out the tail. Learn each boards geometry and how you can ride it. Once you understand how the board likes to turn, then you can start to push it harder sharper and more on edge. The more on edge the closer you are to the snow. As many will tell you here do not reach for the snow. Try to keep your body straight and lean it over like a motorcycle on winding turns Good luck!

    Local racing

So I am considering to do a few sl and gs events near me in Michigan. Any ideas or sites I should look into to find local events? I have been out of competitions for 20 yrs and would consider to try out a few local competitions for fun Any help is great Lamberto
  22. I hear you. I have a PJ 7 (gold top sheet). I just christened it a few years ago and I do love it. My first boards were burton FPs and PJs. Check out Vokl Renntigers. I picked up a 178 and it is very exciting. It has a very tight tunr radius and some good dampening qualities. I would say you could find one for a good price on here. Look for the black top sheet. I plan on doing some ice riding in Michigan this year with the virus and Vokl. So I will give you my thoughts later in the season It will be fun either way Cheers Lamberto
