I have read that burton wind boots are relatively the same stiffness as the newer boots. Having owned several wind and reactor boots, I was always happy with the stiffness. I think these are as stiff as my reactors ever were. Without the mechanisms for forward lean, the boots are much lighter as well. The liners were cold and difficult, but my newer liners have improved this a lot. Not sure I would say these are as good as new boots, but I am surprised at how good they deliver the power to the edge. Needless to say I am impressed that 20 year old boots can still deliver. Mine are listed as a euro 8 and felt like a 8.5. With the molded liners they are close to a 9 now. Kinda cool vintage.... L

I never owned a pair of these but came up with a pair. I added newer liners to them. Rode again last night and wow. They are so stiff. I mean the power transfer is great! Not as comfortable as my garmont boots, but they are really interesting. I cannot believe an old boot that is 20+ years old still can deliver. Also they are very light as well. Kind of a cool retro discovery L-

So I came across an old pair of these. They are in great shape and wow, they are super stiff! I am very impressed at how good these old boots are, and they are super light! I cannot believe it but I am considering to put some heat Moldavia liners and make this an awesome set of boots. Any one else have though on this old stock? Lamberto

I have done kirkwood for a couple years now in march. I had great luck both times. Last year they had 2 feet of powder at the end of march when I arrived. 3 hr drive from sfo. Try going into San Jose airport. Easier airport to get into

Has anyone ever put either catek or trench digger toe and heel bails on burton or ibex bindings? I love my bindings and their weight but I just snapped a plastic toe bail. Any ideas other than buy cateks or Tds? Thanks Lamberto
