  1. Sorry we missed you Buggs. We had holiday visitors& opted out out of riding yesterday. Conditions were really good today! They are blowing so much snow & each day gets better! I may even start riding an alpine board soon;)

  2. Here it is, the official dates and information for the ECES.

    Stratton Mountain, VT

    February 24-28, 2014

This is a non-competitive, carving event and we welcome all abilities. Come one, and come all! Now all you carvers and carvettes can mark your carving calendars, and get your stoke on.:D

  3. Hey Mark! There will be some room for early am carving. Its kind of busy this week. You may want a different plan of attack for later in the day. Not sure if I'll be out yet or not. What time are you getting there?

  4. Hey Elisa! Glad to hear that you went with the lotus & are loving it. Santa delivered me one for christmas & I've already enjoyed 2 powder days on it. It is an awesome board! I cant believe im gonna say this, but i may even get a soft set up for it.

Let me know when you are heading up this way to ride your new board! The conditions are killer!!!!

  5. You have to keep in mind, that its not a carving board, but a great freeride board that happens to carve decent. Its more of a smooth ride vs. dynamic & poppy. If you can demo at OOB, try the 154. I think you'll still get a good feel for it, even in the shorter length. As for base bevels, i would go ahead w/whatever you normally ride with. Hope this helps!

I'd love to ride with you anytime, just send me an email at vtsttad at yahoo dot com! Also, I know you ride k-town a bunch. You should definately try to hook up with Amy up there too. She works at Basin & is an amazing carver/rider. She has a lotus also!!

  6. Hey Elisa! I am actually in the process of picking up a Lotus up myself. I rode this board in my hardboots, and was amazed at how well it held up. I was very concerned about the rocker, but quickly found that it wasnt an issue. The board is solid and held up to everything I put into it. I would definately recommend it.

  7. Thanks so much everyone (esp. Jack for posting)! USASA Nationals is such a fun week of events, and the people we get to spend time with makes it that much better. Many congrats to all of BOL'ers that podium'd...even just competed!

Another BIG noteworthy mentionable is that Bomber & Donek had the BUSIEST tents during the entire week. Lots of newbies trying hardboots and alpine equipement for the first time...espcially kids. Nice job to Finn, Michelle & Sean for all their hardwork and dedication to our sport.

  8. We rocked that 80's day in style!!

To all ladies interested (Ladies...not Geoff), I'm going to add the ladies ride to our schedule for Thursday morning at 11:30. Anyone in clinics, should be done by then. Let me know if this will work.
