  1. Hey John,

Mulligans in Manchester is a good choice. It'll be a little quieter there, than up at mountain. Another place to check on your way between Troy-Bennington, is a small place called Man of Kent. Its in Hoosick Falls, NY, on rt. 7. Very small, lots of awesome micro brews on tap, & great food. If all else fails, Mulligans in Stratton village.

  2. For anyone in need of boot work, liner moldings, or footbeds during ECES, Equipe Sport is happy to offer discounts to all ECES attendees. They are located in the Stratton village, right under the clock tower...an easy walk from the lifts.

FYI, I am not working in there this season, however, there are 2 excellent fitters in the shop, and they are tooled up & ready for all your boot work needs. You can ask for either Scott or Randy.

Discounts include footbeds for $99(normally $170) and all labor will be discounted also. Please be sure to identify yourself as an ECES or East Coast Expression Session attendee in order to receive any deals.

    6 days and counting:):):)

  3. There is a hardboot instructor at Stratton. His name is Bill DeGeorge...he's great! You can request a private lesson with him through ski/snowboard school. If you go that route make sure you are clear that its an "alpine snowboard" lesson.
