Neil Gendzwill
I made a release lever extension for my step on bindings as my gimpy hip won’t let me reach it on my back foot. I made a little video about it if anyone is interested in doing something similar.
RoroSnow
I did the same mod at the beginning and finally ended doing something else. The goal was to minimize at the maximum low back bending..... Key chainring on the Burton release lever and a modified selfie pole with a hook.... The extended 45 cm pole folds to 18 cm and sits perfectly in my cargo pocket.
Neil Gendzwill
I thought of doing something like that but I don't really want to be reaching in my pockets all the time. I am hoping to get this mechanism working as well as my Intec step-ins on my hard boot boards.
Neil Gendzwill
Update: finally got the chance to try this on snow today. Worked perfect. Also the step-on system is the poop, as the kids would say if they had to deal with a language filter. It works really really well. Even with max forward lean it was easy to get in and out. The connection is very solid.
Kneel
Love it! Already told my son I'm doing the "old fart" mod on his step-on's for when I borrow them.

I did a little editing for you Neil. Mario 1
