powdahbonz
Looks like a fine weekend for some large drifts and plentiful breezes in the Whites..conservative forecast 14"-28" inches....hopefully the wind and poor road conditions keep the crowds away
fishrising
Wish I could get there. Busy until late Sunday night, but have Monday off. May try for an early AM ride to a southern VT mountain.
MR. JOHN DEERE !
I'll be at the Kitty 3/8 for a SHRALPing. Spectating the U12 State Championships, on the 9th and 10th. Heavy APRES all 3 afternoons. With the slow roll back to North Conway Grand.

Will be an audible on 3/8..potentially heading to Loaf..visibility sunday was obscured by the 50+gusts so I two-planked it. Coverage good..no cahvahs present. powdahbonz
Any potential to ride tomorrow or are you just going to be soaking up sun on the sidelines?
lonbordin
My son and our friend.... Wow... Wildcat... I'd never been before today. I've hiked Tuckerman's but that was a million years ago. That is a classic New England mountain. Oh those winding narrow trails. Worthy of the experience and no doubt fun when it dumps. Since there's no snow in the forecast for the near future it's Attitash/Bear for us. Edited December 22, 2019 by lonbordin had to have a photo! powdahbonz
Mornings are definitely better early season. It can get scraped fast. Cant compare Attitash to Wildcat. Very different experience and much more challenging terrain. Shorter radius rides are probably better choices there. Glad you're squeezing in time between work.

lafcadio
Frozen sugar. Thin cover. Crowded as hell.
powdahbonz
I was there prior weekend..snow was pretty good until 1130. Very peoply too. I don’t carve there bc of the risk. People overtake and straight line without warning. Skiing is much less stress there for me. Loon was very crowded this weekend. 8-10am is great. After that, it’s just avoiding others..not even enjoyable.
