Edge Angles

2deg side 0.5deg base. Those were recommended to me by Ivan from carver.si for the conditions I'm in (Japan, not icy), I bought an svst fixed angle side guide, a beast base fixed angle guide and a set of 5 moonflex stones from racewax and just rolled with it, never looked back. I do it daily. Got a sidewall planar of some sort. I think svst also.

Dominator wax with a wax whizard daily. Graphite zoom on base, bullet on edges. A few hot scrapes end of season with graphite base prep after a base grind. Same stuff left on over summer once cleared.

Might try briko-maplus next season for wax.

2° side, 1° base, recommended by the manufacturer. I plan to change that to 2.5° side while keeping the 1° base, though: I am in the habit of using the diamond (Rotofinish) after every day of riding. By keeping the diamond at 2°, I hope to achieve sharper edges without sacrificing more material.
