pmorita Posted March 5, 2018 Report Posted March 5, 2018 Found this interview online about Lib Tech in 2019. Just have to pray that it's full camber and with no magnetraction. "Unusual shapes are gaining wider consumer acceptance. Doing anything unseen next year in shapes? Asym/double swallow/reverse sidecut/triple ender etc? Bringing the 195 Dough Boy Shredder back to the game is pretty unusual." Quote
xy9ine Posted March 5, 2018 Report Posted March 5, 2018 comes with ginsu edges, alas: "This 195cm tip to tail skeletal bad boy comes with Magne-Traction® serrated edge grip technology a Banana Tech C3 camber dominant rocker/camber bottom contour and hard carving twin elliptical side cut." 3 Quote
pmorita Posted March 5, 2018 Author Report Posted March 5, 2018 Danm, nothing but a long tourist board that will glorify the wall of every ski area pizzaria in a few years. 2 1 Quote
pauleleven Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 Libtech Cygnus X1 much? Seriously, WTF, how dare you? I'll get new boots, plate, and a race board and still probably have enough for a season pass Quote
bruincounselor Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 During the Olympics my ten year old daughter thought the logo on the bottom of a bunch of boards read, "Burrito". It reminded me of the old "Shalom" top sheet so I suggested she write Mervin and give them her idea. How much would that piss off Burton? 1 Quote
b0ardski Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 sounds more like a longer skunk ape. this does not need magna-wiggle or rocker, look at the reverse sidecut tips; in "93 Quote
pmorita Posted March 6, 2018 Author Report Posted March 6, 2018 Are those Hooger Booger boards flanking the Lib? Quote
RoroSnow Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 Nope. Hooger Booger Snowboards introduced the fingerprint design around '88. Those ones seem to be some Identity Snowboards, a brand that dissappeared as fast as it came out like many brands at that time... Below is a picture of one the models from Hooger Booger with fingerprints. At that time Hooger Booger was own by Scott. Picture taken from the site of Hooger Booger history. Quote
b0ardski Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 (edited) Identity were made in Kalispell 98-02 or 3 I've had 3 of those 173 am boards carviest pow surfer, rides like the eldo light as the grocer Edited March 7, 2018 by b0ardski Quote
