~tb
Looking for that next board for my wife. Looking for something in the high 150's to low 160'2. 18-19.5 waist width. Appropriate flex for 110lb woman. Sidecut. . . leaning more towards the freecarve/GS numbers and away from the SL numbers. Anyone got anything collecting dust? Just looking for a stepping stone before I order her a new board. Drop me an e-mail. brownt@alum.rpi.edu
manch_mike
Call Trevor at the Mothership at 603-745-6597 He's got two Nitro Freecarve's for Sale, they'd be excellent for a light rider. Good luck.
RJ-PS
Because of the effective edge it's actually not unlike the smaller boards and 110 lbs at the intermediate level can carve it well. My wife likes hers better than her winterstick, and she rides it on everything. Bonus: You don't need to buy her a powder board too ;) (Of course I'm disregarding everything else you said about waist width, GS numbers, etc)
rekre8r
My wife has a couple of Killer Loop snowboards an R2 152cm and a R3 159cm that she would be willing to part w/ at a low price. Killer Loops were made by Kastle/
Jack M
Todd, do both yourselves a favor and get her an all-mtn carving board. Unless she's a whiz at carving her softboot gear already. (does she snowboard? I forget) Trruuuust meee. I tried to start my wife on a Stat 5, and my sister on an Alp 157 - they both found much relief when we switched them to E-decks.
