Corey
Did you know that the insert pack is set pretty far back on an Oxygen Proton 178? I didn't! Needless to say, I moved my stance to a more centered location when I discovered that. What a difference! This board went from feeling dead and lethargic to fun and snappy. Measure your board! I felt like a hero yesterday, easily one of my best days snowboarding ever.
Fleaman
Keep ripping it up man! Isn't it great when something clicks and your riding just seems to improve tenfold?
Allee
I changed the bindings over on my boards on Sat, and yesterday when I hit the snow I knew straight away that the front binding wasn't as far forward as I usually ride. But because I'd left the tools at the lodge I kept riding with it anyway. And after one run, it was WAY better. I had a primo day, so I'm leaving it like that! D-Sub
cant quite figure out why carving boards are set up with inserts so far back sometimes. makes no sense but..yes...measure the effective edge. its the only way to do it accurately

Corey
LOL, I even read that setup article before. I just ASSumed that the inserts were centered. Oops! :o I ended up moving my front foot about 2 cm forward, one full insert pack. Widening up my stance and moving it forward really changed things for me. Very cool! D-Sub
still wonder why the inserts ARENT centered on most boards anyone?
jtslalom
Thats funny because I just moved my back binding back about 1.5 inches on my Renn Tiger because I thought my knees were always jammed together to much.
