Number crunching

After years of riding, I've finally found some answers that work for me.

Basically the answer to two questions.

Having a quiver somewhere between 15-20 boards, I've started asking, "How many boards is too many?" My answer: 1/2 my age. I'm 42, so it gives me some wiggle room. Works for me.

And then, what's a decent goal for days riding per season? My answer: my age. Every year the number goes up. It doesn't mean I stop when I get there, just that I'm satisfied at that point.

It's a work in progress.

In '89, I worked at Okemo. I had 4 Times as many boards as The Mountain had, in my personal quiver (that's 25, for me, 6 for Okemo).  Down to 22 at present, but, 9 are kid's boards. 4 have have fins (or attachments for fins), 5 would be 'swallowtails', 3 are over 180cm, 4 are asymmetrical, 3 have squared-off tails, two are Madd, 7 are Rad-Air, and one lonely Sims...
