snowboardfast
I am not getting a high enough edge angle at the start of my turns and would like to find a video that demonstrates this and explains how to do it well ?

Pat Donnelly
In the video section, first page . . . Look "on edge style" instructional video. Also post some pictures or video of you riding for others to offer suggestions.
Beckmann AG
I am not getting a high enough edge angle at the start of my turns... How much tilt (0-90) do you want, and where (assuming 180+/- degrees of arc) do you want it? The answer might help with suggestions on technique and/or timing. Generally speaking, if your edge angle is 'too high' late in your previous turn, you will be 'low and tardy' at the following turn entry. And so forth. Also, the 'means' by which you tip your board will determine your options. High angle early in the turn usually requires a reasonable grasp of both flexion/extension, and also productive use of rebound. As Pat suggests, a short video would be helpful. dingbat
High edge angle follows the start of the turn. There are things you can do to make this phase of the turn happen quicker, but you can't just skip it and go right to high edge angles....unless you want to turn the other way. snowboardfast
Well I did better today.I was able to leave a thin line on a steeper groomed run today better than before. I watched some of the on edge style video last night and it helped. I got on the tail of the board more when it was steeper. Just continuing to work on little things and I am getting better . I am having a good year.
Colozeus
The on edge video is amazing. I have watched it twice since yesterday and it falls perfectly in line with what many veteran hardbooters have told me.
