Burner 188 is the only long deck I would like to ride nowadays. so many boards, so little time. back when they were always priced at $500 (pre-metal era), i would always talk myself out ofbuying one for fear that i'd snap the tail on east coast ice, etc. reviews that suggest that a rider who presses the nose more than i probably do served as a deterrant also. now i just want to ride everything i can, really. gear that i acquire these days may very well outlast me. Pius, if i get my hands on one (or a 197), you can ride it, of course. we both know which of the two of us is most likely to damage it.
