Dan
Hey Keenan, welcome to Portland! Sorry that it looks like your first year as a Mt. Hood local is going to be a dry year. We'll keep our fingers crossed for good spring snow on Hood, and maybe until then you can sneak back to Bachelor now and then :-)

Keenan
Got the pass and a new powder board on the way. I took my daughter to Sandy on Saturday to get her season rentals. We went a route that I had never gone before, through the town of Carver.

Keenan
I'm shooting for Monday as well, just not sure of what time. I'm in a bright red jacket, I wear hard boots, I usually fall directly under the lift.
www.oldsnowboards.com
Today: Snowtires on : Check Favorite Gear loaded: Check Gassed up" Check Favorite boards waxed and loaded: Check Seasons Pass: Check Monday sounds good. Very promising! Considering going up Friday as a "Shake Down" run. Iffy. Side Note: Looks like Oregon and Washington states have found another way to "Not play nice together" Appears that the reciprocity we have enjoyed on snow park permits has gone away this season. My WA pass is no longer valid in OR and Your OR permit is no longer valid in WA. Forcing us to buy both!! Add another 40$ to the cost of riding in both states. http://www.oregon.gov/odot/dmv/pages/vehicle/sno_park_permits.aspx http://parks.state.wa.us/134/Permits

www.oldsnowboards.com
Yesterday , Tuesday, not quite "Clear Skies" as was expected but still quite good weather, groomers were soft and a bit rough but we now have as much snowpack at MHM as had ALL of last season. Big storms on their way again for the coming week or so. Here is a photo from our local on mountain pro. https://meadowsactionphotos.smugmug.com/Daily-galleries-201516/Tue-dec-15-north-canyon/i-34qJtRv/A There is a sequence of several photos , click on the right side arrow. It was pretty cold on the face, had a balaclava on.
