Dan
I love hiking around my local ski area, Mt. Hood Meadows, in the summer. Even though it's ostensibly the wilderness, it's impossible for me to get lost - I know the area as well as the neighborhood I live in. But it's better than my neighborhood because there's no one there, and the scenery is stupendous. Don't take my word for it, here are some pics from last weekend, shot around the Hood River Meadows chair. Anyone else get up to their local hills (or any ski area) in the summer? Let's see some pics! (Gotta do something to keep busy until carving season rolls around again!)
lowrider
Not exactly the same topic but in your hike did you come across many bees. Total mystery to me this year haven't seen many (hardly any ) even on the apple blossoms.
