Bobby Buggs
By now you guys are probably sick of me praising the Rc10s I got early last year. They have exceeded my expectations but today it was warm out and they actually felt too soft and by the end of the day my feet were hurting. Have any of you noticed they change much in the warmer temps.
lonbordin
Yes, I've noticed a considerable difference with temperature and my UPZs. I typically leave the shells out in the unheated garage to counteract the difference. I've also, very occassionally, run the stiffer grey tongues to counteract the softness but most of the time when it's that warm the snow is super soft and I don't care about the boot softness. Important notes- I like stiffer boots. I'm very tall and heavy. I live in an area with drastic winter temperature extremes. Bindings are SideWinders with Blue e-pads running angles ~53/48. Corey
It hasn't bothered me so far. The front/back flex is fairly consistent with the springs, and the side-to-side flex is almost irrelevant with SideWinder bindings.
