Sailman
Here is the text... with TD2 ads If you´re the kind of rider who want´s to "kill the hill" this is the board for you. The titanal construction makes it blindingly fast but very easy to handle. Torsional stiffness is unparalleld and creates enormous amounts of grip. In order to get a well balanced ride I therefore created a surfboard-torsioncontrol section in the front. This makes the board easier to put on edge and detunes the torsional rigidity with the spli-tail. If you´re looking for performance this is the board for you. We strongly recommend Bomber TD2s for this board.TECHLength:182 cmWaist: 21cmEff. edge: 160 cmSidecut: radial with progressive flex 13,7 ≈ 12 m
SEJ
Thanks Sailman, all good info. The board in the link looks like Dan's. Mine had different graphics. Gonna mix it up a little and add red flames. Somehow I need to recreate Franks handwriting, or a small decal saying made by Virus Corey, just bought the decals and there's more polishing to do. Just haven't had time. I WILL post any further improvements. Stay tuned!
SEJ
Had a little more time to play with this. Couple of passes with aluminium polish and I could shave with this thing. Love the reflection of the boards in the ceiling rack. Now I just need the graphics to show up.

Corey
Nice job Scott! That looks fantastic. Did you do that with a palm-sander or the more traditional Armstrong method?

SEJ
Corey, took the clear coat off with dry orbital sander at 220. Wet sanded by hand. All the rubbing out and polsihing was with a random orbit polisher. I've got one that's a real power tool (7 amps). Not the 1 amp junk everybody sells. SEJ
The nose graphics showed up. Not perfect, but I think you would have to have it side by side with the original to tell. Now I just need the rest. (Flames need to go on first.)
*Ace*
Any issues with the carbon inlay while polishing? Also I remember CasperCarver taping off the inserts of his board when he polished up his Prior...don't remember why... Looks like a stellar job from the looks of it. Good work! All those topsheet marks were from TVRs use of the Burton cant plates. Edited March 15, 2015 by *Ace*
SEJ
No issues with the carbon. Part of it polished up better than the rest. Last step will be automotive wax. I think that will make the carbon consistent.
