theboarderdude
I currently have 2 alpine boards, and 3 pairs of bindings. 2 standard pair, a nitro pair and TD1. I have one pair of SI TD2's. I love the SI's, but standards are better for racing. I've been having trouble getting my TD1s to stay on while going up the lift, but are marvelous while rinding. I'm thinking I want to put one TD2 on the front of each board, and a TD1 on the back. Thoughts?
Mr.E
Split pairs work fine if the general stiffness is close. My biggest concern is why your TD1 is opening up. Something is amiss with your set up.
boardguru
A friend of mine currently rides with a standard TD2 in front and a TD2 SI in back. If you are riding a lift, your back foot is usually the one you take out to get too the lift and on/off the lift. Also agree with Mr.E about your binding opening up. theboarderdude
I think I may have had the toe nut to far in, lifting the bail off my boot, and had them a little to loose. boardguru, I was going with kind of a reverse compared to your friend, but If I get my TD1s figured out I may go the usual, standard in front and SI in back.
