Hans
No vs, handsome personlized F2 platebindings. Would still prefere the CNC ones.

piusthedrcarve
First photo was seen at Apex's (Canadian distributor of Kessler ski and snowboard) Facebook recently. Kessler bindings (OEM F2). While I couldn't play golf yesterday due to rain, I used the time to paint my Proflex pro bindings to be look alike. Difference? very minimal (Except thinner bails size and logo). Just for fun... But then, now I worry that those white toe bail clips will make mark on my black UPZ boots by rubbing. Hans
put a thin plastic band on your boots. i just ordered a pair of cnc ones to compare the riding with my bombers. Edited October 8, 2012 by Hans
pokkis
Will that CNCed body make bails last better?? EDIT, this is serious question due really like to understand if they do it, this also due this will make one less flex part in bindings Edited October 8, 2012 by pokkis
Hans
I hope so, they have also thicken the bails. Just bought them on recommendation from Jasey-Jay to try them with my new upcoming boards. I want to try something else than bombers.
pokkis
Ok so does CNC version has thicker bails than new plastic version?
Hans
no all the same, 5.9 mm
pokkis
But 5.9mm bails were already season 2009, right?
Hans
Pokkis, you're right. By the way I have never had any broken bails and or boards. May be due to I only ride about 20 days a year.

Hans
I know that store, they don't send the bindings outside of Italy, I asked them nicely but they didn't.
jacopodotti
if you find it convenient you could ship them to my office than I'll send them to you, for the Netherlands it costs 30 euro
Hans
Thanks for the kind offer, had to know that earlier. They only have size M now. Ordered at Surfinsel.at today for EUR 279.--, size Large. They just raised the price but still interesting price since I know that model hasn't been changed a bit. snowmatic
Hi, that CNC has one big advantage for racing (and thats why they intent to make CNC's). The nose outside of front lever bail wouldn't break away during hard action on race. Some riders on LG and other races had serious knee injures because of such brocken noses. Front bail slide out then of the bindings during full carving action. It happens immediatly without any warnings, you can not see anything on the plastics before they fails. philw
I like the plastic ones myself, but I'll be interested to hear how the metal jobbies compare in practice. If they were better, I'd buy them, but I'm not convinced. I don't break stuff and find the American gear rather chunky for my tastes. jacopodotti
I've heard that the metal lever wears out the boots
Hans
metal?, seems plastic to me, might be wrong, will see when i get them.
Mr.E
It's plastic. They are heavier in hand, but don't look much different then the F2's we are used to. It will be interesting to hear how the bails hold up with the hard shoulder on the toe block. They look nice- not a polished as Bombers, but like a beefier version of the plastic blocks.
