Tugboater
I'm looking to keep the snowboard feeling going during the non-snow seasons and mountainboarding looked like fun. I'm sure that with the bindings it is somewhat similar to riding but not the same. What tips do newbies need to keep from eating it hard? Jack M
Do it on a gentle grassy hill, like at a park. But longboard skateboards or CarveBoards are closer to alpine snowboarding. I think wakeboarding is the best substitute, but that may not be feasible.
www.oldsnowboards.com
Use ALL the safety gear first off. Couple dollars worth of plastic can save thousands. Use the air pressure to keep the speed in check. Lower is slower.
Derek53
If you need a board I have one that i am looking to get rid of. It comes with everything you need including helmet, knee pads, wrist pads, elbow pads, and boots and bindings.
Tugboater
That sounds intriguing, what size is the gear and how much are you looking for?
Derek53
The boot in soles are tore up a bit but they are size 11 and the helmet and pads are large. As for price I am flexible but maybe $185 plus shipping.
