Marco
Ueli Kestenholz, Nicolas Conte, Karl-Heinz Zangerl and Sigi Grabner have put together the best instructional video on snowboard stance and movement within the stance. This is absolutely excellent:

Hans
Great vid for riding instructional on raceboards. Not suitable for ECing or eurocarving.
Miltie
Marc, That stance explanation is part of VHS video released in Japan around 2002 or so. Sigi was on the cover. I have a copy somewhere in a box which is still unpacked after my move back to US. That entire video is pretty good. The stance section with Nicolas Conte was definitely a game changer for me as it helps you understand how the alignment of your knees, hips and shoulders all need work together. Thanks for sharing! Puddy Tat
Interesting it definately applies to race carving. How does this relate to free carving and doing giant C's on the slope, where every turn is started and finished perpendicular to the fall line? I wonder because I am definately rotating into my turns, and perhaps I should be seeking to elminate that for free carving? I have experienced the described chatter from (what must be) over rotation, though I normally attributed it to my weight getting off of the tail.
